Premiering on Tuesday, August 31 is the Hulu original series Only Murders in the Building created by Steve Martin & John Hoffman and starring Martin, Selena Gomez, Martin Short Aaron Dominguez and Amy Ryan. The show’s original music is composed by Siddhartha Khosla (This Is Us, Looking for Alasksa, Queenpins, Runaways, The Royals). Hollywood Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score this past Friday. Check out our soundtrack announcement for the full album details and to learn more about the comedy, which will be available to stream exclusively on Hulu.

Premiering on Wednesday, September 1 is Pixar Animation Studios’ Disney+ shorts series Dug Days written and directed by Bob Peterson and produced by Kim Collins. Andrea Datzman (Alcatraz, Undercovers) & Curtis Green have composed the original score for all five shorts. ‘What If…the World Lost Its Mightiest Heroes?’ Soundtrack Album Details

The details of the third soundtrack album for Marvel Studios’ Disney+ animated series What If…? have been revealed. The album features the original music from the show’s third episode (What If… the World Lost Its Mightiest Heroes?) composed by Laura Karpman (Lovecraft Country,  Set It Up, Underground, Black Nativity, Paris Can Wait, Why We Hate). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, August 27 by Marvel Music & Hollywood Records (click here to stream/download the album). The composer’s score from Episode 1 and Episode 2 has previously been released earlier this month and more soundtracks featuring music from the rest of the season will be coming out over the next couple of weeks. Episode 3 of What If…? is written by A.C. Bradley & Matthew Chauncey, directed by Bryan Andrews and explores what would happen if Nick Fury’s campaign to recruit the Avengers (as depicted in the comic Fury’s Big Week) went wrong.

The details of the second soundtrack album for Marvel’s animated Disney+ series What If…? have been revealed. The album features the original music from the second episode of the show (What If…T’Challa Became a Star-Lord?) composed by Laura Karpman (Lovecraft Country, Paris Can Wait, Set It Up, Black Nativity, Why We Hate, Underground). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, August 23 by Hollywood Records/Marvel Music and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music outlets, including Amazon. Karpman’s music from the first episode (What If…Captain Carter Were The First Avenger?) was released earlier this month and the composer’s scores from the rest of the season will be coming out over the next couple of weeks.

Details for ‘Star Wars: The Bad Batch’ Vol. 2 (Episodes 9-16) Soundtrack Album Revealed

The full details of the second soundtrack album for Lucasfilm’s Disney+ series Star Wars: The Bad Batch have been revealed. The album features selections of the original music from Episodes 9-16 of the show’s first season composed by Kevin Kiner (Star Wars: The Clone Wars & Rebels, Narcos: Mexico, Doom Patrol, Titans, CSI: Miami, Hell on Wheels, City on a Hill). The Volume 2 soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, August 20 by Walt Disney Records and will be available to stream/download here. A first album featuring the composer’s music from the first episodes was released back in June. Star Wars: The Bad Batch is created by Dave Filoni and stars Dee Bradley Baker, Ming-Na Wen, Stephen Stanton and Andrew Kishino.

First Soundtrack Album for Marvel’s Disney+ Series ‘What If…?’ to Be Released

Hollywood Records and Marvel Music will release the first soundtrack album for Marvel Studios’ Disney+ original series What If…? The album features the original music from the show’s first episode (What If…Captain Carter Were The First Avenger?) composed by Emmy Award winner Laura Karpman (Lovecraft Country, Set It Up, Paris Can Wait, Why We Hate, Step, Underground). The soundtrack will be available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms (including Amazon) tomorrow, August 13. What If…? is developed by A.C. Bradley, directed by Bryan Andrews and reimagines famous events from Marvel’s feature films in unexpected ways, focussing on different heroes from the MCU.

Jordan, Michael Douglas, Michael Rooker, Natalie Portman, Paul Bettany, Paul Rudd, Rachel House, Rachel McAdams, Samuel L. Jackson, Sebastian Stan, Stanley Tucci, Taika Waititi, Tilda Swinton and Tom Hiddleston. The show’s original music is composed by Laura Karpman (Lovecraft Country, Underground, Step, Set It Up, Why We Hate, Paris Can Wait). Also premiering on Wednesday is the Netflix original film The Kissing Booth 3 directed by Vince Marcello and starring Joey King, Joel Courtney, Jacob Elordi, Molly Ringwald, Taylor Zakhar Perez, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Meganne Young and Stephen Jennings. Patrick Kirst (Inherit the Viper, Breaking Surface, Grace Stirs Up Success, Convergence) who previously scored the first two installments has composed the movie’s original music. The romantic comedy, which follows Elle as she plans the ultimate bucket list to make the most of her final summer before college, will be available to stream exclusively on Netflix.

Disney+’s ‘Doogie Kamealoha, M.D.’ to Feature Re-Imagined ‘Doogie Howser, M.D.’ Theme by Wendy Wang & Jake Shimabukuro

Disney+ announced today that composer Wendy Wang and ukulele player Jake Shimabukuro have created and recorded a new version of the Doogie Howser, M.D. theme (written by Mike Post) for the upcoming Disney+ original series Doogie Kamealoha, M.D.. The streamer also released the opening titles sequence featuring the song, which can be checked out after the jump. Doogie Kamealoha, M.D is created by Kourtney Kang (How I Met Your Mother) and stars Peyton Elizabeth Lee, Kathleen Rose Perkins, Jason Scott Lee, Matthew Sato, Wes Tian, Emma Meisel, Mapuana Makia and Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman. The coming-of-age dramedy follows a 16-year-old prodigy juggling a budding medical career and life as a teenager who is determined to make the most of her teenage years and forge her own path.

‘The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse’ Soundtrack EP Released

Walt Disney Records has released a new soundtrack EP for the Disney+ animated shorts series The Wonderful World of Mickey Mouse. The 4-track EP features four new original songs from the show written by series composer Christopher Willis (The Death of Stalin, The Personal History of David Copperfield, Schmigadoon!). Three of the four tracks (As Long As I’m With You, Bubble Gum Day & Feelin’ the Love)  are co-written by Elyse Willis. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music stores. Listen to all four songs after the jump. The label has previously released two first songs from the series last fall.

Batu Sener Scoring Disney+’s ‘Ice Age: Adventures of Buck Wild’

Batu Sener is currently recording his score for the upcoming animated feature Ice Age: Adventures of Buck Wild. The film stars Simon Pegg as the voice of the title character (who appeared in the Ice Age features Dawn of the Dinosaurs, Continental Drift and Collision Course) and follows Buck Wild as he goes go on a new adventure in the Dinosaur World, alongside Crash and Eddie. No other casting announcements have been made yet for the 20th Century Animation production. Sener has previously contributed additional music to several scores by composer John Powell, including How to Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World, The Call of the Wild and Solo: A Star Wars Story. Powell has scored the second, third and fourth installment in the Ice Age feature series, while David Newman scored the original 2002 film and John Debney composed the music for the fifth installment.

Soundtrack Album for Disney+’s ‘Chip ‘n’ Dale: Park Life’ to Be Relaesed

Walt Disney Records will release a soundtrack album for the Disney+ original series Chip ‘n’ Dale: Park Life. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Vincent Artaud (Mr. Magoo, Oggy and the Cockroaches, Paprika, Lupin’s Tales, Hubert & Takako, Zig & Sharko). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, July 30 and will be available to stream/download here. Chip ‘n’ Dale: Park Life s executive produced by Marc du Pontavice and features the voices talent of Matthew Géczy, Kaycie Chase, Bill Farmer, David Gasman, Sylvain Caruso and Cindy Lee Delong. The Xilam Animation production follows the two titular tiny troublemakers in their perpetual pursuit of acorns and are joined by Pluto, Butch and other iconic Disney characters as they face down bullies great and small.
