Daniel Hart (Pete’s Dragon, A Ghost Story, The Old Man & the Gun, Ain’t Them Bodies Saints, Strange Angel) has recently scored the new documentary Fauci. The film is directed by John Hoffman (The Weight of the Nation) & Janet Tobias (No Place on Earth) and focuses on the nation’s top infectious disease expert and one of our most dedicated public servants, Dr. Anthony Fauci. The movie features insights from President George W. Bush, Bill Gates, Bono, former national security advisor Susan Rice, former U.S. Department of Health and Human Services secretary Sylvia Burwell, among others, plus Dr. Fauci’s family, friends and former patients. Hoffman & Tobias are also producing the National Geographic Documentary Films and Story Syndicate production with Jon Bardin (Why We Hate), Rogger Lopez  (Memory Games) and Alexandra Moss. Dan Cogan (Icarus, Allen v. Farrow) and Liz Garbus (What Happened, Miss Simone?, Lost Girls) are among the project’s executive producers. Fauci will be released in select theaters on September 10 before premiering on Disney+ later this year.

Hart’s other recent projects include David Lowery’s The Green Knight, which is currently playing in theaters and is now also available on PVOD.
