Premiering tonight is the Showtime original series White Famous created by Tom Kapinos and starring Jay Pharoa, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Jacob Ming-Trent, Lonnie Chavis and Meagan Good. The show’s original music is composed by Dhani Harrison & Paul Hicks (Learning to Drive, Good Girls Revolt, The Divide, Beautitful Creatures). Premiering on uesday, October 17, is the new AT&T Audience Network original series Hit the Road created by Peter Tilden & Jason Alexander who also stars in the show alongside Amy Pietz, Richard Dreyfuss, Natalie Sharp, Nick Marini, Tim Johnson Jr. and Maddie Dixon-Poirer. Jeff Toyne (Rogue, 9/11, Dirty Girl, You Me Her, Hot Bot) is composing the show’s original music. The comedy follows the members of a family band who traverse the country in a cramped tour bus sacrificing privacy, comfort and dignity while in search of fame and fortune. Will & Brooke Blair to Score Jeremy Saulnier’s ‘Hold the Dark’

Will Blair and Brooke Blair are reteaming with director Jeremy Saulnier on the upcoming thriller Hold the Dark. The film starring Alexander Skarsgard, James Badge Dale, Jeffrey Wright, Riley Keough and James Bloor is set in a remote Alaskan wilderness in which wolves have taken and killed children and follows a biologist who tracks down a young child. Saulnier also co-wrote the screenplay with the composers’ brother Macon Blair (I Don’t Feel at Home in This World Anymore). Russell Ackerman and John Schoenfelder are producing the project with Eva Maria Daniels, Anish Savjani & Neil Kopp (Wendy and Lucy, Certain Women).

‘Small Crimes’ Soundtrack Announced

Wayfind Records has announced a soundtrack album for the Netflix original movie Small Crimes. The album features the film’s original music composed by Brooke Blair & Will Blair (Green Room, Blue Ruins, I Don’t Feel at Home in This World Anymore), as well as the song Conquista y Poder, a collaboration with Rei Alvarez of salsa legends Bio Ritmo (listen to the track after the jump). The soundtrack will be released digitally on June 9, 2017 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Small Crimes is directed by Evan Katz and stars Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Jacki Weaver, Robert Forster, Gary Cole, Molly Parker and Pat Healy. The movie follows a disgraced former cop who is released from prison and returns home looking for redemption but winds up trapped in the mess he left behind.

Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the indie comedy I Don’t Feel at Home in This World Anymore. The album features the film’s original score composed by Brooke Blair & Will Blair (Green Room, Blue Ruin, Small Crimes). Also included are the songs from the movie by Echo & The Bunnymen, Jason Newman, The Graverobbers, My New Mixtape & more. The soundtrack will be released digitally on May 12, 2017 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. I Don’t Feel at Home in This World Anymore is written and directed by Macon Blair and stars Melanie Lynskey, Elijah Wood, David Yow, Jane Levy and Devon Graye. The movie follows a a depressed woman who – after being burglarized – finds a new sense of purpose by tracking down the thieves, alongside her obnoxious neighbor.

Premiering tonight is the new Lifetime original series Mary Kills People created by Tara Armstrong and starring Caroline Dhavernas, Jay Ryan, Richard Short, Lyriq Bent, Greg Bryk and Charlotte Sullivan. The show’s original music is composed by John Rowley (Defendor, Weirdsville). Mary Kills People centers on a single mother who is an ER doctor by day, but by night, she and her partner, a former plastic surgeon, moonlight as underground angels of death and help terminally ill patients slip away on their own terms. To learn more about the comedy drama, which will air Sunday nights on Lifetime, visit the official show website.

Premiering on Tuesday, April 25, is National Geographic’s first scripted series Genius executive produced by Brian Grazer & Ron Howard and starring Geoffrey Rush, Johnny Flynn, Emily Watson, Nicholas Rowe, Samantha Colley, Jon Fletcher, Richard Topol and Alicia von Rittberg. Lorne Balfe (The LEGO Batman Movie, Home, Terminator Genisys) is composing the show’s music and Hans Zimmer (Pirates of the Caribbean, Inception, Gladiator) wrote the main titles theme. Milan Records will release a soundtrack EP for the show this Friday, April 28 and a full soundtrack album is in the works for a release later this year. Will Blair and Brooke Blair have been tapped to score the upcoming indie drama Jonathan. The film is directed by Bill Oliver and stars Ansel Elgort, Patricia Clarkson and Suki Waterhouse. The movie follows two twins who live by a strict set of rules including no lies and no romantic relationships. When one of them finds out that the other has fallen in love, his ordered life is thrown into chaos. Oliver also co-wrote the screenplay with Peter Nickowitz. Randy Manis (The Calling, Big Sky) and Ricky Tollman are producing the project. Neal Dodson, Jim Reeve and Robert Halmi Jr. serve as executive producers.

The movie follows a former rodeo star who unknowingly starts a rapport with a young man who is responsible for all of the violence that has suddenly gripped his small town. Ben and Paul China wrote the Black List-honored screenplay.

Williams and Ivory Aquino. The show’s themes and music are composed by Danny Elfman (Spider-Man, Batman, Alice in Wonderland) and Chris Bacon (Source Code, Bates Motel). Hollywood Records has released a soundtrack album featuring a suite from the composers’ score, as well as songs by Jordan Fisher, Fancy, Brandi Carlile and Zella Day. The movie follows a disgraced former cop who is released from prison and returns home looking for redemption but winds up trapped in the mess he left behind. Katz also co-wrote the screenplay with the composers’ brother Macon Blair who also appears in the film. David Lancaster (Whiplash, Nightcrawler, Eye in the Sky) and Stephanie Wilcox are producing the project.
