Because Music & EuropaCorp will release a soundtrack album for Luc Besson’s gothic horror movie Dracula: A Love Tale. The album features the film’s original score composed by Academy Award nominee Danny Elfman (Batman, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Spider-Man, Beetlejuice, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Edward Scissorhands, Men in Black, Alice in Wonderland). The full details of the soundtrack album for the Disney Jr. animated series Marvel’s Iron Man and His Awesome Friends have been revealed. The album features seven songs from the show’s first season, including Mark Hoppus’ theme song Totally Awesome, which was released a digital single last month. The soundtrack will be released digitally on August 15 by Walt Disney Records and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Geffen Records has released a digital version of the soundtrack album for the 1980 drama The Competition written and directed by Joel Oliansky and starring Richard Dreyfuss, Amy Irving, Lee Remick and Sam Wanamaker. The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by Honorary Academy Award winner Lalo Schifrin (Mission: Impossible, Bullit, Enter the Dragon, Dirty Harry, Rush Hour, Cool Hand Luke, The Amityville Horror), as well as the Academy Award-nominated original song People Alone written by Schifrin and featuring lyrics by Will Jennings. The first album featuring the songs from the show’s first season performed by the series’ voice cast will be released digitally on September 10 and physically in the following weeks. The film is directed by Guan Hu (Black Dog, The Eight Hundred) & Zhenxiang Fei and stars Zhu Yilong, Wu Lei and Ni Ni. The movie takes place in 1942, when a Japanese ship carrying British prisoners of war was torpedoed and tells the story of a group of Dongji fishermen who risked their lives to rescue over 300 British soldiers and protected and rescued three British individuals during a large-scale search by Japanese forces.
