Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for the action thriller Prisoners of the Ghostland. The album features the film’s original music composed by Joseph Trapanese (Oblivion, Only the Brave, The Raid: Redemption, Shadow and Bone, Project Power, Straight Outta Compton, Lady and the Tramp, The Greatest Showman). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, September 17. and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. Prisoners of the Ghostland is directed by Sion Sono and stars Nicolas Cage, Sofia Boutella, Bill Moseley, Nick Cassavetes and Tak Sakaguchi. The movie is set in the treacherous frontier city of Samurai Town and follows a bank robber who is strapped into a bomb-laden leather suit that will self-destruct in five days if he doesn’t find a warlord’s missing granddaughter. Mattel & Arts Music will release a soundtrack album for the Netflix animated series He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. The album features selections of the original score from the first part of the series composed by Michael Kramer (Ninjago, Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu, Rhyme Time TownValley of Bones). Also included is the theme song The Power Is Ours by Ali Dee. The Vol. 1 soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, September 17 and will be available to stream/download here. He-Man and the Masters of the Universe is developed by Robert David based on the ’80s cartoon classic and features the voice talent of Yuri Lowenthal, Kimberly Brooks, Antony Del Rio, Ben Diskin, Trevor Devall, Grey Griffin, Judy Alice Lee, David Kaye, Tom Kenny, Roger Craig Smith and Fred Tatasciore. ‘Dune’ Soundtrack Album Details

The full details of the soundtrack album for Denis Villeneuve’s sci-fi epic Dune have been revealed. The album features the film’s original score composed by Hans Zimmer (The Dark Knight, Gladiator, Inception, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Lion King, Interstellar, Man of Steel). The soundtrack will be released (in both Standard and Dolby Atmos Music configurations) tomorrow, September 17 by WaterTower Music. and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. As previously announced, The Dune Sketchbook featuring extended musical explorations of the composer’s score was released earlier this month and a third album, The Art and Soul of Dune, the companion soundtrack to the book of the same title featuring music by Zimmer will be coming out on October 22. John Enroth & Albert Fox (The Last Man on Earth, Tiger King, Regular Show) are co-scoring the new Paramount+ original series The Harper House. Mark Mothersbaugh (Thor: Ragnarok, The LEGO Movie, 21 Jump Street, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs) is producing the composers’ music for the show, which is created by Brad Neely (China, IL) and features the voices of Rhea Seehorn, Jason Lee, Ryan Flynn and Tatiana Maslany. The adult animated comedy follows an overconfident female head of a household as she struggles to regain a higher status for herself and for her family after losing her job and moving from the rich side to the poor side of a small town in Arkansas. The album features the film’s original music composed, orchestrated and conducted by Philippe Rombi (Swimming PoolIn the HouseAngel,  Asterix: The Secret of the Magic Potion, Joyeux Noel). The film is directed by Carey Williams and stars Sabrina Carpenter, RJ Cyler, Donald Elise Watkins, Sebastian Chacon, Maddie Nichols, Madison Thompson, Diego Abraham and Melanie Jeffcoat. The movie is based on Williams’ award-winning short film of the same title and follows a group of BIPOC college students, ready for a night of partying, as they weigh the pros and cons of calling the authorities when faced with an unusual emergency. Hillman Grand Records & Def Jam Recordings have released a soundtrack album for the documentary Mr. Soul! The album features the original end title song Show Me Your Soul performed by Lalah Hathaway & the film’s composer Robert Glasper (Miles Ahead, The Photograph) and co-written by Hathaway, Glasper, Muhammad Ayers and director Melissa Haizlip. The track was shortlisted in the Original Song category at this year’s Academy Awards.
