The film is directed by Pierre Morel (Taken, Peppermint, From Paris with Love) and stars Marwan Abdulla Saleh, Khalifa Al Jassem and Mohammed Ahmed. The movie centers on a rescue mission of a small group of Emirati soldiers trapped by rebel fighters in a mountainous valley. Brandon Birtell and Kurtis Birtell (Medal of Honor) wrote the screenplay. Composer Daniel Pemberton (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Birds of Prey, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Enola Holmes, Ocean’s 8) is reteaming with writer/director Aaron Sorkin on the upcoming biographical drama Being the Ricardos. The film is written and directed by Sorkin and stars Nicole Kidman as iconic comedienne Lucille Ball and Javier Bardem as her husband Desi Arnaz. Nina Arianda, J.K. Simmons, Tony Hale, Alia Shwkat, Jake Lacy and Clark Gregg are also starring in the movie, which takes place during a week of production of the classic TV show I Love Lucy and explores the relationship between Ball and Arnaz as they face a set of crises that could end both their careers and their marriage. Air-Edel Records has announced a soundtrack album for the Netflix documentary Convergence: Courage in a Crisis. The album features the film’s original score composed by Patrick Jonsson (The White Helmets, Black Earth Rising, Virunga, Evelyn, On Her Shoulders). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, October 22 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. As previously reported, Polydor Records has released Michael Kiwanuka’s original song Beautiful Life from the movie last week. Milan Records will release the official soundtrack album for the Netflix animated event series Maya and the Three. The album features the original music from the show, including the themes composed by Academy Award winner Gustavo Santaolalla (Brokeback Mountain, Babel, The Motorcycle Diaries, 21 Grams) and selections of the original score written by Tim Davies (Trollhunters: Tales of Arcadia).
