Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the supernatural comedy Ghostbusters: Afterlife directed by Jason Reitman and starring Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace, Annie Potts and Paul Rudd. The film’s original music is composed by Rob Simonsen (Foxcatcher, The Way Back, Nerve, Tully, (500) Days of Summer, The Age of Adeline, The Front Runner). Sony Classical has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today. Also opening nationwide is the drama King Richard directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green and starring Will Smith, Aunjanue Ellis, Demi Singleton, Saniyya Sidney, Jon Bernthal, Kevin Dunn, Tony Goldwyn and Andy Bean. Kris Bowers (Bridgerton, Dear White People, Green Book, When They See Us, The United States vs. Billie Holiday, Space Jam: A New Legacy, Mrs. America) has composed the film’s original music.
