Premiering tomorrow, December 6, is HBO limited series Landscapers created by Ed Sinclair and starring Olivia Colman, David Thewlis, Kate O’ Flynn, Samuel Anderson, Dipo Ola, David Hayman, Felicity Montagu and Daniel Rigby. The show’s original music is composed by Arthur Sharpe (The Electrical Life of Arthur Wain, Flowers, Guilt, The Darkest Universe, Ghosts). Also premiering tomorrow is the HBO original documentary The Forever Prisoner directed and produced by Alex Gibney about Abu Zubaydah, the first high-value detainee subjected to the CIA’s program of Enhanced Interrogation Techniques who was later identified as torture by those outside the agency. Will Bates (Unbelievable, Away, The Magicians, The Path, I Origins, The Looming Tower, Another Earth) who previously scored numerous documentaries by Gibney (including Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief, We Steal Secrets: The Story of WikiLeaks & Steve Jobs: The Man in the Machine) has composed the film’s original music.
