The album features the film’s original score composed by Mark Mothersbaugh (Thor: Ragnarok, The LEGO Movie, The Royal Tenenbaums, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, The Mitchells vs. The Machines). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, January 14 by Sony Classical and will be available to stream/download here. The label has previously released a soundtrack featuring selections of the composer’s scores from the first three installments in the animated franchise. Geneva Club & Roc Nation Records will release a new soundtrack album for the Netflix original film The Harder They Fall. The album features the Academy Award-shortlisted original score from the movie composed by the film’s co-writer/director/producer Jeymes Samuel (aka The Bullitts). Variety is reporting that Laura Karpman (Lovecraft Country, Set It Up, Step, Paris Can Wait, Why We Hate, Underground) has signed on to score Marvel Studios’ upcoming Captain Marvel sequel The Marvels. The film is directed by Nia DaCosta (Candyman, Little Woods) and stars Brie Larson as Captain Marvel, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel, as well as Zawe Ashton.
