Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the Paramount+ original movie Three Months. The album features the film’s original score composed by Roger Neill (20th Century Women, King of the Hill, Beginners, Unpregnant, Mozart in the Jungle). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, February 25 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Available separately as a digital single is the original song Trouble by lead actor Troye Sivan (click here to stream/download and also listen to the track below). Another original song by Sivan from the movie is expected to be released soon. Batu Sener has composed the original score for the upcoming Disney+ animated shorts series Ice Age: Scrat Tales. John Powell (How to Train Your Dragon, The Bourne Identity, Solo: A Star Wars Story, Happy Feet) has contributed the end titles track for the show starring Chris Wedges as the voice of Scrat and Karl Wahlgren as Baby Scrat. The six shorts revolve around the hapless saber-toothed squirrel of the Ice Age adventures who experiences the ups and downs of fatherhood, as he and the mischievous Baby Scrat, alternately bond with each other and battle for ownership of the highly treasured Acorn. 2022 ASCAP Composers’ Choice Awards Nominations Announced

The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) announced today the nominees for the 2022 ASCAP Composers’ Choice Awards. Chosen by the ASCAP composer and songwriter community, the winners will be announced as part of the 2022 ASCAP Screen Music Awards during the week of May 2. The ASCAP Composers’ Choice Awards enable composers to recognize the artistic accomplishments of their peers and were introduced in 2014. The film is directed by Stephen Frears (Dangerous Liaisons, Dirty Pretty Things) and stars Sally Hawkins, Steve Coogan and Harry Lloyd. The movie tells the true story of Philippa Langley, the woman who uncovered King Richard III’s remains which had been lost for 500 years in 2012. The album features the film’s original music composed by the Belgian band Puggy (The Son of Bigfoot, Bigfoot Family). Howard Shore’s Complete ‘Videodrome’ Score to Be Released

La-La Land Records has announced a soundtrack album for the 1983 sci-fi horror movie Videodrome written and directed by David Cronenberg and starring James Woods, Deborah Harry, Sonja Smits, Peter Dvorsky and Les Carlson. The album features the complete restored original score composed by Academy Award winner Howard Shore (The Lord of the Kings, The Hobbit, The Aviator, The Silence of the Lambs, The Departed, Hugo, Mrs. Doubtfire, Big, Ed Wood), including previously unreleased music. The CD, which is limited to 2,000 copies, will be available to order at noon today on the label’s official website.
