Premiering on Tuesday, August 19, is the Netflix original documentary series America’s Team: The Gambler and His Cowboys directed and executive produced by Chapman & Maclain Way about the controversies that defined the Dallas Cowboys and led them to three Super Bowl championships. The show’s original music is composed by Brocker Way (Wild Wild Country, The Kings of Tupelo, The Battered Bastards of Baseball. Death and Other Details, Untold). Premiering on Wednesday, August 20, is the romantic drama The Map That Leads to You directed by Lasse Hallström and starring Madelyn Cline, KJ Apa, Josh Lucas, Madison Thompson and Sofia Wylie. Sarah Trevino (The Big Conn, The Herricanes) has composed the film’s original music. The movie, which is based on JP Monninger’s novel of the same name and follows a young woman who is setting off on an adventure across Europe with her best friends before settling into her perfectly planned life, when she crosses paths with a magnetic and mysterious stranger, will be available to stream exclusively on Prime Video. ‘Suspicious Minds’ Soundtrack Album Released

Hollywood Records has released a soundtrack album for the Spanish Disney+/Hulu original series Suspicious Minds (Ladrones: La tiara de Santa Águeda). The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Emmy Award winner Victor Reyes (The Night Manager, Buried, Red Lights, Grand Piano, Perfect Strangers, Red Queen, Down a Dark Hall). Suspicious Minds is created by Verónica Marzá, Pablo Roa & Fernando Sancristóbal and stars Alex González, Silvia Alonso, Asier Etxeandia, Olga Hueso, Antonio Pagudo, Albert Baró, Jan Buxaderas,Alicia Jaziz and Eduardo Gómez. Jeff Russo (Fargo, Star Trek: Discovery & Picard, Ripley,  Legion, For All Mankind,  The Night Of,  Zero Day) has composed the original score for the new Hulu limited series The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox. The show is created by KJ Steinberg (This Is Us, Mistresses) and stars Grace Van Patten, Sharon Horgan, Francesco Acquaroli, John Hoogenakker, Giuseppe De Domenico and Roberta Mattei. The 8-part drama is inspired by the story of how Amanda Knox was wrongfully convicted for the tragic murder of her roommate, Meredith Kercher, and her 16-year odyssey to set herself free. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the action comedy Nobody 2 directed by Timo Tjahjanto and starring Bob Odenkirk, Connie Nielsen, John Ortiz, Sharon Stone, RZA, Christopher Lloyd and Colin Hanks. The film’s original music is composed by Dominic Lewis (Bullet Train, The Man in the High Castle, The Fall Guy, Peter Rabbit, Karate Kid: Legends, Your Friends & Neighbors, Money Monster, Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween, Dope Thief, Violent Night). Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as songs performed by José James, Des Rocs & Lewis himself today. Opening semi-wide in a couple of hundred theaters is the crime thriller Americana written and directed by Tony Tost and stars Sydney Sweeney, Paul Walter Hauser, Halsey, Eric Dane, Zahn McClarnon, Simon Rex, Toby Huss, Gavin Maddox Bergman, Derek Hinkey and Harriet Sansom Harris. David Fleming (Superman, The Last of Us, Damsel, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Hillbilly Elegy, Blue Planet II, The Unforgivable) has composed the film’s original score. A soundtrack album is expected to be released in the coming weeks by Lakeshore Records. ARTIST theory has released the theme song from the BBC natural history documentary series Parenthood. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music services is Go Steady produced by the show’s composer Tom Howe and co-written (with Max Wolfgang) and performed by Sam Ryder. The albums feature the original music from the episodes The Greatest Adventure & Freshwater composed by Tom Howe (Ted Lasso, Dog Man, Shrinking, Knuckles, Early Man,Daisy Jones & the Six,  A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon, Book Club: The New Chapter) are now available to stream/download on all major digital music services.
