La-La Land Records has announced the album Star Trek Collection- The Final Frontier, a new 4-CD set featuring previously unreleased music from Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager and Star Trek: Enterprise. The first disc includes “lost cues” from Star Trek: The Motion Picture written by Jerry Goldsmith (but never recorded) and performed by Joe Kraemer (Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, Jack Reacher), as well as music from The Next Generation composed by Dennis McCarthy and Jay Chattaway. The second disc includes previously unreleased music from Deep Space Nine written by McCarthy, Chattaway, David Bell and Paul Baillargeon. The third disc features tracks from Voyager composed by Chattaway & Bell and the fourth disc includes selections of music from Enterprise written by McCarthy, Baillargeon, Bell, Kevin Kiner and Velton Ray Bunch. La-La Land Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 2005 comedy drama The Weather Man directed by Gore Verbinski and starring Nicolas Cage, Michael Caine, Hope Davis, Nicholas Hoult, Michael Rispoli and Gil Bellows. The album features the original music from the Paramount Pictures release composed by Hans Zimmer (The Dark Knight, The Lion King, Inception, Dune, Gladiator, Interstellar, No Time to Die, Black Hawk Dawn, Man of Steel, Rain Man) who co-scored the movie with James S. La-La Land Records has announced the details of the soundtrack album for the Sonic the Hedgehog 2. The album features the film’s original score composed by Tom Holkenborg (Mad Max: Fury Road, Deadpool, Zack Snyder’s Justice League, Godzilla vs. Kong, Black Mass, Alita: Battle Angel, Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice) who previously composed the music for the 2020 original movie. A limited edition CD version will be available to order on the label’s official website at noon today. A digital version is expected to be released this Friday by Paramount Music (visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download the album).
