Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the superhero movie Shazam! Fury of the Gods directed by David F. Sandberg and starring Zachary Levi, Jack Dylan Grazer, Asher Angel, Rachel Zegler, Lucy Liu, Helen Mirren, Adam Brody, Meagan Good, Ross Butler, D.J. Cotrona and Djimon Hounsou. The film’s original music is composed by Christophe Beck (Ant-Man series, Frozen, WandaVisionFree Guy,  Edge of TomorrowThe Hangover). . Opening semi-wide in around 800 theaters is the comedy drama Moving On written and directed by Paul Weitz and starring Jane Fonda, Lily Tomlin, Malcolm McDowell and Richard Roundtree. Amanda Jones (Naomi, Super/Natural, TwentiesGood Trouble, Adventure Time: Distant Lands, Somebody Somewhere) has composed the film’s original score. No word on a soundtrack release. The movie, which follows two estranged friends who reunite to seek revenge on the petulant widower of their recently deceased best friend, premiered at last year’s Toronto International Film Festival and is being released by Roadside Attractions.

Opening in select theaters today is the psychological thriller Inside directed by Vasilis Katsoupis and starring Willem Dafoe. The film’s original music is composed by Frederik Van de Moortel (Animas). No soundtrack album has been released. The movie, which tells the story of an art thief trapped in a New York penthouse after his heist doesn’t go as planned who must use all his cunning and invention to survive, premiered at this year’s Berlin Film Festival and is being distributed by Focus Features.

Opening in select theaters and on VOD today is the disaster thriller Supercell co-written and directed by Herbert James Winterstern and starring Alec Baldwin, Skeet Ulrich, Anne Heche, Jordan Kristine Seamón, Daniel Diemer and Anjul Nigam. Corey Wallace (ArtikCursed Friends, Siberia, Valley of Bones) has composed the film’s original music. Atlantic Screen Music/Filmtrax will release a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score next Friday, March 24. Opening in select U.S. theaters is the French comedy The Innocent directed by Louis Garrel and starring Roschdy Zem, Anouk Grinberg, Garrel himself and Noémie Merlant. The film’s original music is composed by Grégoire Hetzel (IncendiesMy Golden Days, Ismael’s Ghosts,Summertime, The Midwife, Oh, Mercy!). Cristal Publishing  & Editions Musicales François 1er have released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last fall when the movie opened in France. Opening in select theaters before coming out on VOD on March 21 is the coming-of-age drama Wildflower directed by Matt Smukler and starring Kiernan Shipka, Dash Mihok, Charlie Plummer, Reid Scott, Alexandra Daddario, Brad Garrett, Jacki Weaver, Erika Alexander, Samantha Hyde, Ryan Kiera Armstrong and Jean Smart. Chad Fischer (Scandal, Chasing Mavericks, Private PracticeWeird City) has composed the film’s original music. No soundtrack album has been announced.
