Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for the Swedish Netflix limited series Clark. The album features selections of the original music from the show composed by Mikael Åkerfeldt who is best known as the primary songwriter, lead vocalist and guitarist of the metal band Opeth. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, May 5 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Physical versions are set to come out on July 22 and is available for pre-order here (CD version) and here (vinyl edition). Clark is co-written and directed by Jonas Åkerlund (Lords of Chaos) and stars Bill Skarsgård, Adam Lundgren, Sandra Ilar, Peter Viitanen, Vilhelm Blomgren, Hanna Björn, Alida Morberg, Isabelle Grill and Björn Gustafsson. The 6-parter tells the story of Swedish criminal Clark Olofsson who managed to escape prisons and committed robberies all over Europe, who has been referred to as a “celebrity gangster” and inspired the term “Stockholm syndrome. Plaza Mayor Company will release a soundtrack album for the Greek/French drama Broadway. The album features the film’s original score composed by Academy Award winner Gabriel Yared (The English Patient, The Talented Mr. Ripley, Judy, Cold Mountain, Betty Blue, 1408). Also included is the song Snow Leopard by Sillyboy’s Ghost Relatives. The soundtrack will be released digitally on May 20, 2022 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon.
