Pathé Films has released a soundtrack album for the French thriller 13 Days, 13 Nights (13 jours, 13 nuits). The album features the film’s original music composed by Guillaume Roussel (Black Beauty, The Three Musketeers: D’Artagnan & Milady, 3 Days to Kill, Expend4bles, Lift, The Spy, Happy!, November, The Man with the Iron Heart). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. The movie is set against the withdrawal from Afghanistan of U.S. troops in August, 2021 as the Taliban march on Kabul and recounts the true story of French Commander Mohamed Bida and his elite police team who find themselves trapped alongside hundreds of civilians and devise a plan to evacuate the stranded masses and reach the airport.

The album features the film’s original music composed by Guillaume Roussel (Black Beauty, The Spy, Expend4bles, Happy!, 3 Days to Kill, November, The Man with the Iron Heart). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. A CD version will be released overseas this Friday, December 15. The label has previously released Roussel’s music from the first part (D’Artagnan) earlier this year. The 2-part film based on Alexandre Dumas’ classic book is directed by Martin Bourboulon (Eiffel) and stars François Civil, Vincent Cassel, Eva Green, Romain Duris, Vicky Krieps, Louis Garrel, Pio Marmai, Lyna Khoudri and Jacob Fortune Lloyd. l . Alexandre de la Patellière and Matthieu Delaporte (What’s in a Name?, The Best Is Yet to Come) wrote the screenplays for the Pathé Films production.
Alexandre Desplat Scoring Martin Bourboulon’s ‘Eiffel’
Alexandre Desplat has recently been scoring the upcoming French romantic period drama Eiffel. The film is directed by Martin Bourboulon (Daddy or Mommy, Divorce French Style) and stars Emma Mackey and Romain Duris. The movie follows celebrated engineer Gustave Eiffel who is under pressure to design something for the 1889 Paris World Fair as spectacular as his recent collaboration with Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi on the Statue of Liberty, when he crosses paths with a mysterious woman from his past who inspires him to change the Paris skyline forever.
