Quartet Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1966 horror/sci-di drama Seconds directed by John Frankenheimer and starring Rock Hudson, Salome Jens, Will Geer and John Randolph. The album features the remastered, restored and (slightly) expanded original score from the Paramount Pictures production composed by Academy Award winner Jerry Goldsmith (The Omen, Chinatown, Planet of the Apes, Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Papillon, Basic Instinct, L.A. Confidential, Poltergeist), as well as the source music for the movie’s cocktail sequence. James Peter Moffatt (House of Cardin, Mansfield 66/67) has released a soundtrack album for the documentary My Name Is Lopez. The album features the composer’s original score from the film, as well as the songs from the movie and is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. My Name Is Lopez is directed by P. David Ebersole & Todd Hughes and centers on Trinidad Trini Lopez III who was born in Dallas as the son of undocumented Mexican immigrants and fought his way out of the ghetto with a guitar to become a true American rock and roll legend and one of the first Latino rock stars. Firestep has released a soundtrack album for the French musical comedy Tenor. The album features the film’s original score composed by Laurent Perez Del Mar (The Red Turtle, I Kill Giants, The Mystery of Henri Pick, My Son, Zarafa, The Kitchen Brigade). Also included are the songs from the movie performed by beatboxing world champion and lead actor MB14. ‘Pleasure’ Soundtrack Album Details

Milan Records has announced the worldwide release of the soundtrack album for the drama Pleasure. The album features the film’s original score composed by Karl Frid (Wild Nights with Emily, Crimes of Passion: Death of a Loved One, Alena, Citizen Schein). The soundtrack, which has already been available in several international territories since last fall, will be released in the U.S. and other markets next Friday, May 13 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Two first tracks (Confutatis and Hard to the Core) are available to stream/download now and can be checked out after the jump. Pleasure is written and directed by Ninja Thyberg and stars Sofia Kappel, Revika Anne Reustle, Chris Cock, Evelyn Claire, Dana Dearmond and Kendra Spade. This week, Ian Hultquist and Drum & Lace (Dickinson, I Know What You Did Last Summer, Dickinson, Night Teeth, Good Girls) have been recording their score for the upcoming romantic comedy Rosaline. The film is directed by Karen Maine and stars Kaitlyn Dever, Kyle Allen, Isabela Merced, Minnie Driver, Christopher McDonald and Bradley Whitford. The movie is based on Rebecca Serle’s 2010 novel When You Were Mine. The movie is being described as a comedic retelling of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, told from the perspective of Juliet’s cousin, Rosaline, who happens to be Romeo’s ex.
