Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album for the Polish Netflix original series Cracow Monsters (Krakowskie Potwory). The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Mary Komasa (Charlatan) and Antoni Komasa-Łazarkiewicz (Copying Beethoven, In Darkness, Quo Vadis, Aida?, Rosemary’s Baby, The Affair). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Cracow Monsters is created by Kasia Adamik & Olga Chajdas and stars Barbara Liberek, Stach Linowski, Andrzej Chyra, Małgorzata Bela-Pawlikowska, Anna Paliga and Daniel Namiotko. The movie starring Brianne Tju, Benjamin Wadsworth, Uriah Shelton, Ali Gallo and Peter Giles follows seven misfit students who must band together against a growing gang of unhuman savages and take down the murderous zombie-creatures. The Bank Records will release a soundtrack album for the Danish TV series Borgen: Power & Glory. The album features selections of the original music from the fourth season of Borgen composed by August Fenger Janson (aka ELOQ) (Chosen). The soundtrack will be released digitally on June 2 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The composer’s main title theme is already available to stream/download now. Borgen: Power & Glory is created by Adam Price and stars Sidse Babett Knudsen, Birgitte Hjort Sørensen, Mikkel Boe Følsgaard, Simon Bennebjerg, Magnus Millang and Özlem Saglanmak. Decca Records has announced a soundtrack album for Illumination’s animated comedy Minions: The Rise of Gru. The album is produced by Grammy Award winner Jack Antonoff features the new track Turn Up the Sunshine by Diana Ross ft. Tame Impala (to be released as a digital single on May 20), St. Vincent’s cover of Lipps Inc’s Funkytown, H.E.R.’s rendition of Sly and The Family Stone’s Dance to the Music, Bleachers’ version of John Lennon’s Instant Karma! and Phoebe Bridgers’ interpretation of The Carpenters’ 1972 Goodbye to Love, as well as the Minions’ performance of Simon & Garfunkel’s Cecilia. Also included is a score suite by the film’s composer Heitor Pereira (Despicable Me, The Smurfs, The Angry Birds Movie). The soundtrack will be released digitally, on 3-panel CD digipack, standard black double LP, yellow & blue splattered double LP, yellow cassette and a limited-edition picture disc on July 1.
