Danny Bensi & Saunder Jurriaans (OzarkThe Outsider, The Staircase, The GiftBoy Erased, Tokyo Vice, Enemy, Fear the Walking Dead) have composed the original score for the upcoming sci-fi movie Biosphere. The film marks the feature directorial debut of producer Mel Eslyn (Room 104, Blue Jay) and stars Sterling K. Brown and Mark Duplass. The movie is set in the not-too-distant future and revolves around the last two men on earth who must adapt and evolve to save humanity. Eslyn & Duplass co-wrote the screenplay. Eslyn is also producing the project with Zackary Drucker (The Lady and the Dale), Maddie Buis and Shuli Harel (The Drop). Mark & Jay Duplass serve as executive producers. Bensi & Jurriaans have previously composed the music for the Eslyn-produced 2014 feature The One I Love. Biosphere will premiere this coming weekend at the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival.

Bensi’s & Jurriaans’ other upcoming feature projects include Dave Franco’s Somebody I Used to Know, which is expected to premiere in early 2023 on Prime Video. They also recently scored Saela Davis’ & Anna Rose Holmer’s God’s Creatures, which premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival and will be released in select theaters and on VOD on September 30 by A24.
