Opening in theaters nationwide today is the psychological thriller Don’t Worry Darling directed by Olivia Wilde and starring Florence Pugh, Harry Styles, Chris Pine, Gemma Chan, Wilde herself, and KiKi Layne. The film’s original score is composed by John Powell (How to Train Your Dragon, Solo: A Star Wars Story, The Bourne Identity, Happy Feet). WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s music last week (click here for the full album details) and a separate soundtrack featuring the songs from the movie (including an original track written by Styles) today (click here for more information).
Opening in around 900 U.S. theaters today is the British family adventure drama Railway Children directed by Morgan Matthews and starring Jenny Agutter, Sheridan Smith, Tom Courtenay, John Bradley, Beau Gadsdon and K.J. Aikens. Edward Farmer (Prince Philip: The Man Behind the Crown, DNA Family Secrets,) and Martin Phipps (The Crown, The Aftermath, Woman in Gold) have composed the film’s original music. MovieScore Media has released a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score earlier this year when the movie opened overseas (under the title The Railway Children Return).
