The full details of the soundtrack album for the FX limited series Under the Banner of Heaven have been revealed. The album features selections of the original music from the show written by Pearl Jam co-founder Jeff Ament, former Red Hot Chilli Peppers guitarist Josh Klinghoffer (as Pluralone), together with Fitz and the Tantrums drummer & songwriter John Wicks and Josh Evans. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, June 10 by Hollywood Records and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Three first tracks have already been released as a digital single last month. Under the Banner of Heaven is created by Dustin Lance Black and stars Andrew Garfield, Sam Worthington, Daisy Edgar-Jones, Denise Gough, Wyatt Russell, Gil Birmingham, Billy Howle, Rory Culkin, Adelaide Clemens, Chloe Pirrie, Seth Numrich and Sandra Seacat. The Los Angeles Film Orchestra has announced their debut performance, Basil Poledouris: The Music and The Movies at The Music Center’s Walt Disney Concert Hall on July 22, 2022 at 8:00pm PT. The orchestra, under the direction of Maestro Steven Allen Fox, will be joined by the SoCal Chorale led by Choir Maestra Marya Basaraba. The concert will feature suites from some of Poledouris’ best known film scores including The Blue Lagoon, The Hunt for Red October, Free Willy and more.
