WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack EP for the Riverdale special episode American Psycho the Musical. The album features the songs from the musical episode performed by cast members Casey Cott, Lili Reinhart, Vanessa Morgan, Erinn Westbrook, KJ Apa, Drew Ray Tanner, Camila Mendes, Madelaine Petsch, Caroline Day and Sophia Tatum. The songs were originally written by Duncan Sheik for the stage musical of the same title, which premiered in London in 2013 and on Broadway in 2016. Cinematic Soundscapes will release a soundtrack album for the romantic drama First Love. The album features the film’s original score composed by George Kallis (Cliffs of Freedom, After We Fell, The Last Warrior, The Black Prince, 93 Days). The soundtrack will be released digitally on June 17 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. First Love is written and directed by A.J. Edwards and stars Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Sydney Park, Diane Kruger and Jeffrey Donovan. The movie follows a senior in high school who experiences the highs and lows of his first love, while his parents are dealing with the familial fallout spurred by the 2008 financial crisis. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the sci-fi action adventure Jurassic World Dominion co-written and directed by Colin Trevorrow and starring Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Laura Dern, Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum. The film’s original music is composed by Michael Giacchino (Up, Lost, Spider-Man: No Way Home, Ratatouille, The Incredibles, Star Trek, The Batman). Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score digitally today and a CD version will be coming out later this week. Opening in select theaters and on VOD today is the drama The Walk directed by Daniel Adams and starring Justin Chatwin, Terrence Howard, Katie Douglas, Lovie Simone, Anastasiya Mitrunen, Jeremy Piven and Malcolm McDowell. Robert ToTeras (Sugar Rush, He Who Dares) has composed the film’s original music. No word on a soundtrack release. The 1974-set drama, which follows a Boston Irish cop who is assigned to protect black high school students as they are bused into all-white South Boston High, is being distributed by Vertical Entertainment. Endeavor Content & Lakeshore Records have released a soundtrack album for the coming-of-age comedy Wyrm. The album features the film’s original score composed by David Boman (Moonshot, Please Hold). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. The composer has previously released an EP featuring the original songs from the movie back in 2019. Wyrm is written and directed by Christopher Winterbauer and stars Theo Taplitz, Lulu Wilson, Sosie Bacon, Natasha Rothwell, Paula Pell, Azure Brandi, Tommy Dewey, Dan Bakkedahl, Rosemarie DeWitt, Lukas Gage and Jenna Ortega. The full details of the soundtrack album for the biographical drama Elvis have been revealed. The album features the songs from the movie, including The King and I by Eminem & CeeLo Green, Kacey Musgraves’ cover of Can’t Help Falling in Love, Yola’s rendition of Strange Things Are Happening Every Day, Måneskin’s cover of If I Can Dream, Stevie Nicks’ & Chris Isaak’s version of Cotton Candy Land & more. A cover of the Elvis Presley classic Trouble performed by Austin Butler (who stars in the title role) has just been released today and can be checked out after the jump. Two first tracks from the album (Vegas by Doja Cat and Tupelo Shuffle by Swae Lee & Diplo) have already been released over the last few weeks. The album features Ozuna’s original song Ceremonia, which is already available as a digital single, as well as all-new recordings from Grammy Award winner Arturo Sandoval who contributes four track (three of which are performed with the film’s star, Andy Garcia, and the CineSon All Stars), Angela Alvarez’s rendition of Quiéreme Mucho and a salsa / mariachi arrangement of Get Lucky by the Mr. B Combo.
