Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the animated feature Lightyear directed by Angus MacLane and starring Chris Evans, Uzo Aduba, James Brolin, Keke Palmer, Peter Sohn, Mary McDonald-Lewis, Taika Waititi and Isiah Whitlock Jr. The film’s original music is composed by Michael Giacchino (Up, Lost, The Incredibles, Ratatouille, Inside Out, Spider-Man: No Way Home, The Batman, Jurassic World). Walt Disney Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today. Opening in select theaters is the British comedy Brian and Charles directed by Jim Archer and starring David Earl, Chris Hayward, Jamie Michie,Louise Brealey and Nina Sosanya. Daniel Pemberton (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Steve Jobs, The Trial of the Chicago 7, Enola Holmes, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., King Arthur: Legend of the Sword) has composed the film’s original music. 1812 Recordings will release a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score next Friday, June 24. Walt Disney Records will release a soundtrack album for the Disney+ original documentary More Than Robots. The album features the film’s original music composed by Stephanie Economou (Jupiter’s Legacy, The Chair, Manhunt: Deadly Games, Marvel’s 616). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, June 17 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. More Than Robots is directed by Gillian Jacobs and follows four teams of teenagers from Los Angeles, Mexico City and Chiba, Japa as they prepare for the 2020 FIRST Robotics Competition.
