First Artists Recordings has released a soundtrack album for the Mexican thriller On the Road (En El Camino). The album features the film’s original music composed by Andrea Balency-Béarn (The Head of Joaquín Murrieta, Dance of the 41). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon (and most other major digital music services), where you can also check out the track list. Also listen to the composer’s first track after the jump. On the Road is written and directed by David Pablos and stars Osvaldo Sanchez and Victor Prieto Simental. The movie follows a world-weary trucker and a reckless young hitchhiker who form an uneasy alliance that quickly turns intimate and dangerous.

Premiering in the U.S. on Tuesday, August 26, is the British limited series Playing Nice developed by Grace Ofori-Attah based on JP Delaney’s bestselling novel and starring James Norton, Niamh Algar, Jessica Brown Findlay and James McArdle. The show’s original music is composed by Clint Mansell (Black Swan, Requiem for a Dream, Moon, The Fountain, Noah, The Wrestler, Peacemaker, Loving Vincent, Doom Patrol). ‘The Head of Joaquín Murrieta’ Soundtrack Album Released
Amazon Content Services has released a soundtrack album for the Mexican Amazon original series The Head of Joaquín Murrieta (La Cabeza de Joaquín Murrieta). The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Andrea Balency-Béarn (Dance of the 41). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. The Head of Joaquín Murrieta is created by Mauricio Leiva-Cock & Diego Ramírez Schrempp and stars Juan Manuel Bernal, Alejandro Speitzer, Emiliano Zurita, Yoshira Escárrega and Becky Zhu Wu. The 8-part western is set at the Mexico/U.S. border in 1851 and follows the adventures of the title character, also known as the Mexican Robin Hood, and Joaquín Carrillo, whose paths intersect in the middle of a violent misunderstanding.
‘Dance of the 41’ (‘El baile de los 41’) Soundtrack Album Details
El Estudio will release a soundtrack album for the Mexican drama Dance of the 41 (El baile de los 41). The album features the film’s original music composed by Carlo Ayhllón (The Darkness, Feral, Dodo) & Andrea Balency-Béarn, as well as other music from the movie. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, May 14 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also check out the full track list. Dance of the 41 is directed by David Pablos and stars Alfonso Herrera, Emiliano Zurita, Mabel Cadena, Fernando Becerril and Paulina Álvarez Muñoz. The movie based on a true story is set at the end of the 19th century and follows a gay congressman who marries the Mexican president’s daughter but cavorts with a young man at a secret club.
