Premiering on Thursday, June 23, is the Paramount+ original movie Beavis and Butt-Head Do the Universe written and directed by Mike Judge and staring Judge, Gary Cole, Nat Faxon, Chris Diamantopoulos, Chi McBride, Tig Notaro, Brian Huskey, Stephen Root, Andrea Savage, Martin Starr and Jimmy O. Yang. The film’s original music is composed by John Frizzell (Alien: Resurrection, Office Space, The Following, Dante’s Peak, Gods and Generals). Also premiering on Thursday is the HBO Max original series Gordita Chronicles created by Claudia Forestieri and starring Olivia Goncalves, Diana Maria Riva, Savannah Nicole Ruiz, Juan Javier Cardenas, Noah Rico, Cosette Hauer and Dascha Polanco. Joachim Horsley (The Baker and the Beauty, Batman: Soul of the Dragon, Big City Greens, Spirit Riding Free) has composed the show’s original music. The comedy, which revolves around a Latina reporter looking back on her childhood growing up with her eccentric family in 1980s Miami, will be available to stream exclusively on HBO Max. Composer Alexandre Desplat (The Shape of Water, The Grand Budapest Hotel, The King’s Speech, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, The Queen) is set to reteam with director Michel Hazanavicius (The Artist, OSS 117) on the upcoming animated feature The Most Precious of Cargos. The film, which marks the director’s first animation project, is based on the bestselling book by Jean-Claude Grumberg and will feature the voice talent of Gérard Depardieu, Dominique Blanc and Denys Podalydès. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the animated feature Lightyear directed by Angus MacLane and starring Chris Evans, Uzo Aduba, James Brolin, Keke Palmer, Peter Sohn, Mary McDonald-Lewis, Taika Waititi and Isiah Whitlock Jr. The film’s original music is composed by Michael Giacchino (Up, Lost, The Incredibles, Ratatouille, Inside Out, Spider-Man: No Way Home, The Batman, Jurassic World). Walt Disney Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today. Opening in select theaters is the British comedy Brian and Charles directed by Jim Archer and starring David Earl, Chris Hayward, Jamie Michie,Louise Brealey and Nina Sosanya. Daniel Pemberton (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Steve Jobs, The Trial of the Chicago 7, Enola Holmes, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., King Arthur: Legend of the Sword) has composed the film’s original music. 1812 Recordings will release a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score next Friday, June 24. SATV will release a soundtrack album for the Sky original series The Lazarus Project. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Ben Lukas Boysen (Beat, The Collini Case, Manifesto, Alien Rage) & Paul Emmerich. The soundtrack will be released digitally on July 8 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A first track (Lazarus) is already available to stream/download now and can be checked out after the jump. The Lazarus Project is created by Joe Barton and stars Paapa Essiedu, Anjli Mohindra, Tom Burke, Caroline Quentin, Rudi Dharmalingam and Charly Clive. The 8-part sci-fi thriller follows a man wakes up one day and finds himself reliving a day from months ago, when he meets a recruiter for the Lazarus Project, a secret organization that has harnessed the ability to turn back time every time the world is at threat of extinction. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Tim Phillips (Shameless, Shining Vale, Jericho, Delete, Esio Trot,  Partners in Crime). The details of the soundtrack album for the coming-of-age comedy drama Anything’s Possible have been revealed. The album features the songs from the movie by artists including Billy Porter (who has made his feature directorial debut on the project), Kim Petras, Em Beihold, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Kiana Ledé, DNCE, MIKA, Brittany Campbell, Tassia Zappia, Ryland James & others. A first track (That’s How God Made Me by Joy Oladokun) is already available to stream/download now and can be checked out below. The soundtrack will be released digitally on July 22 by Republic Records and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Anything’s Possible is directed by Porter and stars Eva Reign, Abubakr Ali and Renée Elise Goldsberry. Walt Disney Records will release a soundtrack album for the Disney+ original documentary More Than Robots. The album features the film’s original music composed by Stephanie Economou (Jupiter’s Legacy, The Chair, Manhunt: Deadly Games, Marvel’s 616). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, June 17 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. More Than Robots is directed by Gillian Jacobs and follows four teams of teenagers from Los Angeles, Mexico City and Chiba, Japa as they prepare for the 2020 FIRST Robotics Competition. The Lucasfilm production is produced by Supper Club founders Jason Sterman, Brian McGinn and David Gelb premiered this past March and is now available to stream exclusively on Disney+.
