Sumerian Records has released several digital singles featuring five songs from and inspired by the Canadian romantic comedy Mile End Kicks. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music services are cover versions of Alanis Morisette’s Ironic performed by Avril Lavigne, Wake Up by Bailey Spinn, Forgiven by The Haunt, You Learn by Gore. and Mary Jane by Charlotte Sands. Mile End Kicks is written and directed by Chandler Levack and stars Barbie Ferreira, Devon Bostick, Stanley Simons, Magi Merlin, Juliette Gariépy, Audrey Ann Boucher and Svetlana Citta. The movie tells the story of a young music critic who moves to Montreal to figure out life and love. The comedy premiered at last year’s Toronto International Film Festival and is being released in select U.S. theaters this weekend by Sumerian Pictures.
