Australian Film Score Society has released a soundtrack album for the giant screen documentary Turtle Odyssey. The album features the film’s original score composed by Michael Lira (The Hunter, Interceptor, Black Water: Abyss, Wyrmwood: Road of the Dead, Nekrotronic, Growing Up Smith) and performed by the Sydney Scoring Orchestra. Opening in theaters nationwide this week is the animated feature Strange World directed by Don Hall, co-directed by Qui Nguyen and starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Dennis Quaid, Jaboukie Young-White and Gabrielle Union. The film’s original music composed by Henry Jackman (Wreck-It-Ralph, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Big Hero 6, X-Men: First Class, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle). Walt Disney Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as an original song written by Jackman & Kevin Del Aguila earlier this week.
