Varese Sarabande will release a new deluxe edition soundtrack album for the 1997 noir thriller L.A. Confidential co-written and directed by Curtis Hanson and starring Kevin Spacey, Russell Crowe, Guy Pearce, Kim Basinger, James Cromwell, David Strathairn and Danny DeVito. The album features the expanded Academy Award-nominated original score from the film composed and conducted by Jerry Goldsmith (The Omen, Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Chinatown, Planet of the Apes, Poltergeist, Basic Instinct, The Mummy, Total Recall), including previously unreleased music.
