Two for Joy has released a soundtrack album for the neo-noir thriller Magpie. The album features the film’s original music composed by Isobel Waller-Bridge (Fleabag, Wicked Little Letters, Emma, Vita & Virginia, Three Women, The Phantom of the Open, Munich: The Edge of War, Roar). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on most major digital music services, including Amazon. Also listen to the composer’s first track (Anette) after the jump. Magpie is directed by Sam Yates and stars Daisy Ridley, Shazad Latif, Matilda Lutz, Cherrelle Skeete, Hiba Ahmed, Alistair Petrie and Pippa Bennett-Warner. The movie revolves around a married couple whose lives begin to fracture when their daughter is cast alongside a glamorous movie star.

Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the superhero movie Venom: The Last Dance written and directed by Kelly Marcel and starring Tom Hardy, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Juno Temple, Rhys Ifans, Peggy Lu, Stephen Graham and Alanna Ubach. Isobel Waller-Bridge (Fleabag, The Phantom of the Open, Emma, Vita & Virginia, Munich: The Edge of War, Roar) has recently been recording her score for the upcoming noir thriller Magpie. The film is directed by Sam Yates (Agatha and the Curse of Ishtar) and stars Daisy Ridley, Shazad Latif and Matilda Lutz. The movie follows a couple whose lives are thrown into disarray when their daughter is cast opposite a controversial major star. Actor Tom Bateman wrote the screenplay.
