Theodore Shapiro has won his second Emmy Award for his score for the episode Cold Harbor from the second season of the Apple TV+ original series Severance in the Outstanding Music Composition for a Series category at tonight’s first night of the 77th Creative Prime Emmy Awards. He previously won his first Emmy for his music from Season 1 back in 2022 and was also nominated for his main title theme. Mick Giacchino received his first Emmy Award in the Outstanding Music Composition for a Limited or Anthology Series, Movie or Special category for his score from the episode After Hours of the HBO series The Penguin. Together with Gavras himself, under their multidisciplinary collaborative project Gener8ion, they have composed the original music for the film starring Chris Evans, Anya Taylor-Joy, Salma Hayek Pinault, Vincent Cassel, John Malkovich, Charli XCX, Ambika Mod and Jonatan “Yung Lean” Leandoer. Ocean Avenue Entertainment has released a soundtrack album for the faith-based animated feature Light of the World. The album features the film’s original score composed by Alex McKenzie.
