Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the fantasy comedy Barbie co-written and directed by Greta Gerwig and starring Margot Robbie, Ryan Gosling, America Ferrera, Will Ferrell, Issa Rae, Kate McKinnon, Rhea Perlman, Alexandra Shipp, Ariana Greenblatt and Michael Cera. The film’s original score is composed by Mark Ronson and Andrew Wyatt. Atlantic Records has released a soundtrack album (produced by Ronson) featuring the songs from the movie by artists including Dua Lipa, Billie Eilish, Nicki Minjaj & Ice Spice, Charli XC & others. Also opening wide is the historical thriller Oppenheimer written and directed by Christopher Nolan and starring Cillian Murphy, Emily Blunt, Florence Pugh, Matt Damon, Robert Downey, Jr. and Kenneth Branagh. Ludwig Göransson (Black Panther, The Mandalorian, Creed, Tenet) has composed the film’s original music. Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today.
