Madison Gate Records has released a soundtrack album for the comedy drama The Persian Version. The album features the film’s original music written by singer/songwriter, record producer and composer Rostam Batmanglij (The OA, Sound of My Voice). Also included is the cover version of Cyndi Lauper’s Girls Just Want to Have Fun performed by lead actress Niousha Noor (listen to the track below). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The Persian Versionis written and directed by Maryam Keshavarz and stars Layla Mohammadi, Noor, Kamand Shafieisabet, Bella Warda, Bijan Daneshmand, Chiara Stella, Shervin Alenabi and Tom Byrne. The details of the final four soundtrack albums for the Netflix documentary series Life on Our Planet have been revealed. Available to stream/download now are the Chapter 1-4 soundtracks (click here for the details of each album), as well as the soundtracks for Chapter 5 (In the Shadows of Giants), Chapter 6 (Out of the Ashes), Chapter 7 (Inheriting the Earth) and Chapter 8 (Age of Ice and Fire) featuring music composed by Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation & Dead Reckoning, Black Adam, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, The Wheel of Time). Faber Music will release a soundtrack album for the BBC drama Boiling Point. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Aaron May & David Ridley (Malpractice, Villain, Arsène Wenger: Invincible) who previously scored the 2021 feature of the same title. The soundtrack will be released digitally this coming Monday, October 23 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Following last week’s release of the “suites & themes” album, Netflix Music will release eight more soundtracks for the streamer’s original documentary series Life on Our Planet. CMA Records has announced Love Actually – The Love Themes for Orchestra, a new album featuring 15 tracks from the score for Richard Curtis’ 2003 romantic comedy starring Hugh Grant, Liam Neeson, Laura Linney, Colin Firth, Emma Thompson, Alan Rickman, Keira Knightley, Bill Nighy and Rowan Atkinson. Grammy Award winner Craig Armstrong (Moulin Rouge!, The Great Gatsby, Romeo + Juliet, The Incredible Hulk, Ray, Far from the Madding Crowd) has revisited his score to compose fuller versions of his score cues, which have been newly reworked, adapted and extended by the composer and recorded with the Budapest Art Orchestra, conducted by Peter Pejtsik. The full details of the soundtrack album for Martin Scorsese’s epic western crime saga Killers of the Flower Moon have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Robbie Robertson (The Color of Money, The Irishman, Jimmy Hollywood). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, October 20 by Sony Masterworks and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon.
