Netflix Music will release a soundtrack album for the streamer’s original documentary series Life on Our Planet. The album features the principal themes and suites written by the show’s composer Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout & Dead Reckoning, His Dark Materials, Black Widow, Top Gun: Maverick, The Wheel of Time, Black Adam). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, October 13 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Life on Our Planet is executive produced by Alastair Fothergill, Keith Scholey, Steven Spielberg, Darryl Frank & Justin Falvey, narrated by Morgan Freeman and chronicles the ongoing rise and fall of lives on Earth. The 8-part series, which is produced in partnership with Industrial Light & Magic, will premiere on October 25, 2023 on Netflix.
