La-La Land Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1995 action comedy Bad Boys directed by Michael Bay and starring Martin Lawrence, Will Smith, Téa Leoni, Tchéky Karyo, Joe Pantoliano and Theresa Randle. The album features the film’s newly remastered original score composed by Mark Mancina (Twister, Moana, Speed, Tarzan, Bad Boys, August Rush, The Sea Beast, Con Air, Brother Bear), as well as numerous previously unreleased demo tracks and alternate versions . The 30th Anniversary Expanded Edition is limited to 3,000 copies and is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out audio samples and find out more about the 2-CD set. La-La Land has previously released the premiere score album back in 2007, while Work Records has released the original 1995 soundtrack album featuring songs from the movie and Mancina’s theme. Pathé Films has released a soundtrack album for the French drama A Place for Her (La maison des femmes). The album features the film’s original music composed by Audrey Ismaël (The Path of Excellence, Consent, The Kingdom, Germinal, BAHD, Gloria, Chacun pour tous). Columbia Records has released the fifth song from the soundtrack for the slasher sequel Scream 7. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music services is Criminal co-written (with Laura Veltz & Steven Rusch) and performed by Jessie Murph. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the slasher sequel Scream 7 co-written and directed by Kevin Williamson and starring Neve Campbell, Isabel May, Courteney Cox, Mason Gooding, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Michelle Randolph, Matthew Lillard, Anna Camp, David Arquette, Asa Germann, Sam Rechner, Mark Consuelos, Jimmy Tatro, Celeste O’Connor, Tim Simons and Joel McHale. The film’s original score is composed by Marco Beltrami (3:10 to Yuma, A Quiet Place, Logan, Ford v. Ferrari, The Wolverine, The Hurt Locker, Hellboy) who previously composed the music for the first four installments. No score album has been announced yet. Several songs from the movie have been released as digital singles over the last two weeks. Opening semi-wide in a few hundred AMC theaters this weekend is the comedy K-Pops! co-written and directed by Anderson .Paak and starring the singer/songwriter himself, Soul Rasheed, Jonnie “Dumbfoundead” Park, Jee Young Han, and Yvette Nicole Brown. Emily Bear (Moana 2, The Unofficial Bridgerton Musical, Dog Gone, Our Little Secret) has composed the film’s original score. A soundtrack album is expected to be released in the coming weeks. A first song from the soundtrack (but not featured/credited in the movie), Keychain by aespa & Anderson .Paak), was released as a digital single today.
