The film starring Ben Affleck, Alice Braga, JD Pardo, Dayo Okeniyi, Hala Finley, Jeff Fahey, William Fichtner & Jackie Earle Haley follows a detective who becomes entangled in a mystery involving his missing daughter and a secret government program while investigating a string of reality-bending crimes. Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake are reprising their roles as the lead characters of Queen Poppy and Branch. No other voice casting announcements have been made yet for the DreamWorks Animation production. Shapiro has previously scored the second installment, Trolls World Tour (and also composed the music for the studios’ Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie), while Christophe Beck composed the score for the original 2016 film. The 13th Guild of Music Supervisors Awards were handed out tonight at The Wiltern in Los Angeles. Anton Monsted received the top honor in the Best Music Supervision in Motion Picture – Motion Picture Over 25M for his work on Baz Luhemann’s Elvis. Lauren Marie Mikus & Bruce Gilbert received the award in the Motion Picture Under 25M category for their music supervision on the Daniels’ Everything Everywhere All at Once. Rob Lowry was honored in the Motion Picture Under 10M category for this music supervision on Cooper Raiff’s Cha Cha Real Smooth.
