Premiering on Thursday, September 12, is the Netflix original documentary Into the Fire: The Lost Daughter directed by Ryan White and produced by Charlize Theron about a mother who discovers the daughter she gave up for adoption many years ago has disappeared. The 2-part film’s original music is composed by Blake Neely (Masters of the Air, The Flight Attendant, The Flash, Arrow, Everwood, Greyhound, The Pacific, Life As We Know It, Riverdale). Premiering on Friday, September 13, is the Starz limited series Three Women created by Lisa Taddeo based on her own novel and starring Shailene Woodley, Betty Gilpin, DeWanda Wise, Blair Underwood, Gabrielle Creevy, Jason Ralph and John Patrick Amedori. Isobel Waller-Bridge (Fleabag, Wicked Little Letters, Emma, The Phantom of the Open, Munich: The Edge of War, Vita & Virginia, Roar) has composed the show’s original music. David Fleming has received his first Primetime Emmy Award in the Outstanding Music Composition for a Documentary Series or Special (Original Dramatic Score) category for his score for Ron Howard’s Disney+ original documentary Jim Henson Idea Man at today’s first night of the 76th Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards. He is also up for an Emmy this year in the Outstanding Music Composition for a Series (Original Dramatic Score) category for his Mr. & Mrs. Smith score. Walt Disney Records
