Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the NBC drama Suits LA. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Christopher Tyng (Futurama, The O.C., Kazaam, Covert Affairs, Rescue Me, The Associate). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, May 16. Visit Amazon or any other major digital music services to stream/download the album and also listen to the composer’s main theme below. The label has previously released an album featuring the composer’s score from the original Suits series back in 2015. Suits LA is created by Aaron Korsh and stars Stephen Amell, Josh McDermitt, Lex Scott Davis and Bryan Greenberg. The Suits spinoff follows a former federal prosecutor from New York who has reinvented himself representing the most powerful clients in Los Angeles and must embrace a role he held in contempt his entire career.

Soundtrack Album for USA’s ‘Suits’ Announced
Lakeshore Records will release the first official soundtrack album for the USA original series Suits. The album features selections from the show’s original score composed by Christopher Tyng (Futurama, The O.C., Covert Affairs, Rescue Me), as well as the series’ title song Greenback Boogie performed by Ima Robot. Airing every Tuesday night on the network is the drama Combat Hospital. The show centers on a group of doctors and nurses from Canada, the U.S., the U.K. and other allied countries saving lives and limbs in a war zone military hospital modeled on a real facility in Afghanistan. Deborah Kara Unger, Michelle Borth, Elias Koteas, Terry Chen, Arnold Pinnock and Luke Mably are starring. The show’s music is composed by Edmund Butt (The Dark, Life on Mars, Ashes to Ashes) and additional music is written by Samuel Sim (The Deep).
Composers on USA’s ‘Suits’, ‘Necessary Roughness’ and ‘Covert Affairs’
Christopher Tyng (Futurama , Rescue Me) is scoring the new legal drama Suits. The show created by Aaron Korsh and starring Gabriel Macht, Patrick J. Adams, Meghan Markle, Rick Hoffman and Gina Torres centers on a top Manhattan corporate lawyer who recruits a brilliant but unmotivated college dropout as a new associate. Doug Liman (The Bourne Identity) who has worked with Tyng on multiple TV shows, including The OC, Knight Rider and Covert Affairs is executive producing the show. Kevin Bray directed the pilot. Suits (formerly known as A Legal Mind) is set to premiere on June 23, 2011 on USA and the first season of 12 episodes will be airing every Thursday night.
