Nick Urata revealed in a recent interview with Flickreel that he will be reuniting with directors Glenn Ficarra & John Requa on the upcoming comedy Fun House (also known as The Taliban Shuffle). The film stars Tina Fey, Margot Robbie, Martin Freeman, Alfred Molina, Nicholas Braun, Christopher Abbott, Sheila Vand, Stephen Peacocke, Evan Jonigkeit and Billy Bob Thornton. The movie is based on Kim Barker’s memoir The Taliban Shuffle: Strange Days in Afghanistan and Pakistan and recounts her years as a journalist in Afghanistan and Pakistan after arriving in the region in 2002. Robert Carlock (30 Rock, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt) has written the screenplay. ‘Monsters: Dark Continent’ Soundtrack Announced

7Hz Productions will release a soundtrack album for the sci-fi sequel Monsters: Dark Continent. The album features the film’s original music composed by Neil Davidge (Halo 4, Push, Good People). Also included are the songs from the movie by artists including The Graveltones, The Amazing Snakeheads, When Gravity Falls & more. The soundtrack will be released on May 1, 2015 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Monsters: Dark Continent is directed by Tom Green and stars Johnny Harris, Sam Keeley and Joe Dempsie. The movie takes place a couple of years after the original film directed by Gareth Edwards who serves as an executive producer on the project as Infected Zones have spread across the world and US military try to wipe out the monsters. It was announced today that James Newton Howard is the recipient of this year’s Max Steiner Film Music Achievement Award, which will be presented at the annual Hollywood in Vienna Concert Gala at Vienna Concert Hall on October 16, 2015 The Max Steiner Award honors extraordinary achievements within the genre of film music by the musical capital of Austria, Vienna. Previous recipients of the honor include James Horner, Alan Silvestri, Howard Shore, Randy Newman, Lalo Schifrin and John Barry.
