Two new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:
Opening in most theaters is the superhero movie Suicide Squad directed by David Ayer and starring Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney, Cara Delevingne, Jay Hernandez, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Adam Beach, Karen Fukuhara and Viola Davis. The film’s original music is composed by Steven Price (Gravity, The World’s End, Fury). WaterTower Music will release a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score this coming Monday. Also opening wide is the family comedy Nine Lives directed by Barry Sonnenfeld and starring Kevin Spacey, Jennifer Garner, Malina Weissman, Cheryl Hines, Christopher Walken and Robbie Amell. Evgueni & Sacha Galperine (The Family, The Past, Madame Bovary) have composed the film’s original music. EuropaCorp has released a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score, as well as the song Three Cool Cats by The Coasters.
