Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for Lenny Abrahamson’s indie drama Room. The album features the film’s original music composed by Stephen Rennicks who previously collaborated with the director on last year’s Frank. Also included is Brie Larson’s performance of Big Rock Candy Mountain and This Will Destroy You’s The Mighty Rio Grande. Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the western Bone Tomahawk. The album features the film’s original music composed by Jeff Herriott and the film’s writer/director S. Craig Zahler. The soundtrack will be released digitally on October 23, 2015 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Bone Tomahawk is written and directed by Zahler and stars Kurt Russell, Patrick Wilson, Matthew Fox, Lili Simmons and Richard Jenkins. The movie follows four men set out in the Wild West to rescue a group of captives from cannibalistic cave dwellers. Anne Dudley is currently recording her score for the upcoming dramatic thriller Elle. The film is directed by Paul Verhoeven and stars Isabelle Huppert. Laurent Lafitte, Charles Berling and Anne Consigny. The movie is based on the novel Oh… by Phillippe Dijan and follows a CEO of a gaming software company who is attacked in her home by an unknown assailant. When it appears that her assailant is not finished with her, she decides to stalk him back. David Birke (13 Sins) has written the screenplay. Varese Sarabande will release a soundtrack album for the animated feature Gamba. The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by Benjamin Wallfisch (The Escapist, Dear Wendy, Desert Dancer, Summer in February) who recorded his score with a full orchestra at Abbey Road Studios. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, October 9 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Gamba directed by Tomohiro Kawamura & Yoshihiro Komori and executive produced by Ari Arad (X-Men, Spider-Man) is based on the Japanese children’s book The Adventures of Gamba. The show is created by stand-up comedian Bill Burr & Michael Price (The Simpsons) and features the voices of Burr himself, Laura Dern, Justin Long and Haley Reinhart. The series is based on Burr’s own childhood and follows a lower middle class family in the 1970s.
