Sony Classical will release a soundtrack album for the documentary Our Last Tango. The album features the film’s original music by Luis Borda, Sexteto Mayor and Gerd Baumann. The soundtrack will be released on November 27, 2015 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Our Last Tango is directed by German Kral, executive produced by Wim Wenders and chronicles the seven-decade career of Argentine tango legends Juan Carlos Copes and Maria Nieves. In the movie, the duo recounts their passionate, chaotic relationship to a group of young tango dancers and choreographers from Buenos Aires, who transform moments of their lives into dance performances. WaterTower Music will release the official soundtrack album for Ron Howard’s action adventure drama In the Heart of the Sea. The album features the film’s original music composed by Roque Banos (The Machinist, Evil Dead, Sexy Beast, Oldboy) who recorded his score with the London Metropolitan Orchestra at Abbey Road Studios in London. The soundtrack will be released on December 4, 2015 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. In the Heart of the Sea stars Chris Hemsworth, Benjamin Walker, Cillian Murphy, Tom Holland, Jordi Mollá, Ben Whishaw and Brendan Gleeson. The movie follows an aspiring hip-hop artist who struggles to pursue her music and returns to school, where she discovers the vivid world of slam poetry and finds her true voice and an unlikely love. ‘Jaws’ 2-CD Soundtrack Announced

Intrada Records has announced a new soundtrack release for Steven Spielberg’s 1975 classic Jaws and starring Roy Scheider, Richard Dreyfuss and Robert Shaw. The album features the film’s Academy Award-winning original music composed and conducted by John Williams (Star Wars, Jurassic Park, E.T., Raiders of the Lost Ark). The 2-CD set features the complete score, including previously unreleased music and alternate cues on the first disc, as well as the content of the original 1975 soundtrack album and a number of source cues on the second disc. Jeff Grace has been tapped to score the upcoming SundanceTV original series Hap and Leonard. The show is created by Jim Mickle & Nick Damici and stars James Purefoy, Michael Kenneth Williams and Christina Hendricks. The drama is set in 1980s East Texas and centers on Hap Collins, a white working-class ex-con, and Leonard Pine, an openly gay, black Vietnam vet with anger issues. Mickle and Damici are also executive producing the Sundance Studios production with Nick Shumaker (Another Earth) and Jeremy Platt (The Violent Kind). The show’s original music is composed by David Shephard (Longmire). Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda has written the drama’s title theme. Atli Orvarsson (Vantage Point, Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones) who is also scoring NBC’s Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D. is composing the show’s original music.
