the-lettersSony Classical has released a soundtrack album for the faith-based drama The Letters. The album features the film’s original music composed by Ciarán Hope. The soundtrack is now available digitally on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio clips. The Letters is written and directed by William Riead and stars Juliet Stevenson, Max von Sydow, Rutger Hauer, Priya Darshini, Kranti Redkar and Aapo Pukk. The EP features the film’s original music composed by Shigeru Umebayashi (House of Flying Daggers, The Grandmaster, In the Mood for Love, Hannibal Rising). nathan-whiteheadNathan Whitehead has signed on to score the upcoming horror thriller Stephanie. The film is directed by Akiva Goldsman (Winter’s Tale, screenwriter of A Beautiful Mind, I Am Legend & The Da Vinci Code) and stars Frank Grillo, Anna Torv, Shree Crooks and Kenneth Choi. The movie follows an orphaned young girl with unworldly powers who is taken in by a man and woman who claim to be her parents. Ben Collins and Luke Piotrowski have written the screenplay. Jason Blum (Paranormal Activity, Insidious, The Visit) is producing the project for his Blumhouse Productions company, alongside Matt Kaplan (The Lazarus Effect) for Chapter One, as well as Ellen Goldsmith-Vein (The Maze Runner) and Adrienne Biddle. The album features the film’s music compiled from the the works of Schubert, Schumann, Chopin, Arensky and Bach and performed by violinist Arve Tellefsen, cellist Truls Mørk and pianist Håvard Gimse. The movie based on the August Strindberg play is set during the course of a midsummer night in Ireland in 1890 and follows an unsettled daughter of Anglo-Irish aristocracy, who encourages her father’s valet to seduce her. love-ninaRuth Barrett is composing the score for the upcoming BBC mini-series Love, Nina. The comedy is directed by SJ Clarkson and stars Faye Marsay, Helena Bonham Carter, Jason Watkins, Joshua McGuire and Ethan Rouse. The 5-parter is based on Nina Stibbe’s book of the same title and tells the story of an ordinary life of a nanny from the country trying to find her feet in London in the 1980s. Nick Hornby (Brooklyn, High FidelityAbout a Boy) has adapted the material for the small screen. He is also executive producing the See-Saw Films production with Clarkson, Stibbe, Iain Canning & Emile Sherman (The King’s SpeechShameMr. Holmes) and Lucy Richer (River). The film is written and directed by Jordan Roberts (3, 2, 1…Frankie Go Boom, screenwriter of Big Hero 6) and stars Vera Farmiga, Jacob Tremblay, Virginia Madsen and Suraj Sharma. ‘Zootopia’ Soundtrack Details

zootopiaThe details of the soundtrack album for Disney Animation’s Zootopia have been revealed. The album features the film’s original score composed by Academy Award winner Michael Giacchino (Up, The IncrediblesInside Out, Star TrekJurassic WorldLost). Also included is the original song Try Everything by Shakira, which is already available as a single. The soundtrack will be released on March 4, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Zootopia is directed by Byron Howard & Rich Moore and features the voice talent of Ginnifer Goodwin, Jason Bateman, Idris Elba, J.K. Simmons, Octavia Spencer, Jenny Slate and Tommy Chong.
