Will Bates is scoring the upcoming thriller Imperium. The film is written and directed by Daniel Ragussis and stars Daniel Radcliffe, Toni Collette and Tracy Letts. The movie follows an FBI special agent specializing in domestic terrorism and covert operations who goes undercover and joins a white supremacist group in order to expose a sizable terrorist plot to create a bomb. More Music from ‘Deadpool’ to Be Released

Milan Records will release a new soundtrack album for the hit comic book movie Deadpool. The album features more music from the film, including previously unreleased tracks from the score composed by Tom Holkenborg aka Junkie XL (Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Mad Max: Fury Road, Black Mass, Divergent), as well as Teamheadkick’s Merc With A Mouth, an EDM dance remix of Deadpool Rap, remixes by Night Club, El Huervo & Kreng, an acoustic cover of Deadpool Rap by Brentwood Duo. Also featured on the soundtrack are the songs You’re The Inspiration by Chicago and Mr. Sandman by The Chordettes. Deadpool Reloaded will be released physically on May 27, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The label has previously released the original soundtrack album for the movie. Two new movies are opening nationwide:
Opening in most theaters is the comedy The Boss directed by Ben Falcone and starring Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Bell, Peter Dinklage and Kathy Bates. The film’s original music is composed by Christopher Lennertz (Ride Along, Horrible Bosses, Agent Carter, My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2). No soundtrack album has been announced. The Boss follows a titan of industry, who is sent to prison after she’s caught for insider trading and later emerges ready to rebrand herself as America’s latest sweetheart. Also opening wide is action movie Hardcore Henry written and directed by Ilya Naishuller and starring Sharlto Copley, Danila Kozlovsky, Haley Bennett, Andrey Dementyev, Dasha Charusha, Sveta Ustinova and Tim Roth. Dasha Charusha has composed the film’s original score. Sony Masterworks has released two soundtracks, including an album featuring the songs from the film artists including The Sonics, The Temptations, The Drums, The Stranglers and Devendra Barnhart. Lyle Workman to Score HBO’s ‘Crashing’

Lyle Workman is set to compose the music for the upcoming HBO original series Crashing. The show is executive produced by Peter Holmes & Judd Apatow and also stars Holmes as a comedian who, when his wife leaves him, has nowhere to stay but on the couches of New York’s finest comics. Holmes has written the pilot’s script and Apatow is directing the first episode. Dave Rath, Josh Church and Igor Srubshchik serve as producers and Oren Brimer is co-producing the comedy. Workman has previously scored numerous projects directed and produced by Apatow, including The 40-Year Old Virgin, Superbad and most recently the Netflix original series Love, which premiered in February and will return for a second season next year. David Wingo is reteaming with director Jeff Nichols on the upcoming drama Loving. The film is written and directed by Nichols and stars Joel Edgerton, Ruth Negga, Nick Kroll, Marton Csokas and Michael Shannon. The movie is inspired by Nancy Buirski’s documentary The Loving Story and tells the true story of Richard and Mildred Loving, an interracial couple, who were sentenced to prison in Virginia in 1958 for getting married. Decca Records will release the official soundtrack album for Stephen Frears’ comedy drama Florence Foster Jenkins. The album features the film’s original music composed by Alexandre Desplat (The King’s Speech, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Godzilla, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows) who previously collaborated with the director on such movies as The Queen and Philomena. Also included are the opera performances from the film by Meryl Streep and Aida Garifullina. The soundtrack will be released overseas on May 6, 2016 and is now available for pre-order as an import on Amazon. No word yet on a domestic release date. Florence Foster Jenkins stars Meryl Streep, Hugh Grant, Simon Helberg, Rebecca Ferguson and Nina Arianda. The movie tells the true story of the legendary New York heiress and socialite who obsessively pursued her dream of becoming a great opera singer despite having a terrible voice.
