The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Atticus Ross (The Social Network, Gone Girl, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo), Leopold Ross (The Book of Eli) Bobby Krlic (Triple 9). The soundtrack will be released on vinyl on August 19, 2016 and will also be available digitally. The label has previously released an EP featuring three tracks from the score. Almost Holy is directed by Steve Hoover and centers on Gennadiy Mokhnenko, a controversial pastor who made a name for himself by forcibly removing homeless drug-addicted kids from the streets of Mariupol, Ukraine and housing them in his own self-styled rehab facility.  Read the rest of this entry »

The film is directed by Terry George (Hotel RwandaReservation Road) and stars Christian Bale, Oscar Isaac, Charlotte Le Bon, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Daniel Gimenez Cacho, James Cromwell and Jean Reno. The movie is set in 1922 amid the final days of the Ottoman Empire and centers on a love triangle in 1922 with a medical student, an American journalist based in Paris and a beautiful and sophisticated woman. the-tunnelPremiering today in the U.S. is the British/French TV series The Tunnel based on the Scandinavian drama The Bridge and starring Stephen Dillane and Clémence Poésy. The music from the show’s first season is composed by Adrian Johnston (Becoming Jane, Kinky Boots, Bridesheads Revisited, Dancing on the Edge) and the second season is scored by Ben Bartlett (Walking with Dinosaurs, The Mark of Cain). The drama follows two detectives working together to find a serial killer who left the upper-half body of a French politician and the lower-half of a British prostitute in the Channel Tunnel. The movie centers on Bindle & Keep, a Brooklyn tailoring company that is known for making custom suits for a growing legion of gender-nonconforming clients. finding-doryGuaranteed to top the weekend box office is the animated feature Finding Dory directed by Andrew Stanton and featuring the voices of Ellen DeGeneres, Albert Brooks, Ed O’Neill, Kaitlin Olson, Ty Burrell, Eugene Levy and Diane Keaton. The film’s original music is composed by Thomas Newman (American BeautyThe Shawshank RedemptionSkyfall) who previously scored Pixar’s original film Finding Nemo. Walt Disney Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as the end titles song Unforgettable performed by Sia.
