Sacred Bones Records will release a soundtrack album for the documentary Almost Holy. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Atticus Ross (The Social Network, Gone Girl, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo), Leopold Ross (The Book of Eli) & Bobby Krlic (Triple 9). The soundtrack will be released on vinyl on August 19, 2016 and will also be available digitally. The label has previously released an EP featuring three tracks from the score. Almost Holy is directed by Steve Hoover and centers on Gennadiy Mokhnenko, a controversial pastor who made a name for himself by forcibly removing homeless drug-addicted kids from the streets of Mariupol, Ukraine and housing them in his own self-styled rehab facility. Gabriel Yared to Score Terry George’s ‘The Promise’

Gabriel Yared has been hired to score the upcoming drama The Promise. The film is directed by Terry George (Hotel Rwanda, Reservation Road) and stars Christian Bale, Oscar Isaac, Charlotte Le Bon, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Daniel Gimenez Cacho, James Cromwell and Jean Reno. The movie is set in 1922 amid the final days of the Ottoman Empire and centers on a love triangle in 1922 with a medical student, an American journalist based in Paris and a beautiful and sophisticated woman. Universal Music has released a soundtrack album for the French TV series The Bureau. The album features the show’s original music composed by Rob (aka Robin Coudert) (Maniac, Horns, Awakening: The Beginning, Every Secret Thing). Also included is the drama’s title song Trust by Jeanne Added. The soundtrack is now available digitally in France. Two new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:
Guaranteed to top the weekend box office is the animated feature Finding Dory directed by Andrew Stanton and featuring the voices of Ellen DeGeneres, Albert Brooks, Ed O’Neill, Kaitlin Olson, Ty Burrell, Eugene Levy and Diane Keaton. The film’s original music is composed by Thomas Newman (American Beauty, The Shawshank Redemption, Skyfall) who previously scored Pixar’s original film Finding Nemo. Walt Disney Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as the end titles song Unforgettable performed by Sia. ‘Gomorrah’ TV Series Soundtrack Announced

Goodfellas Records will release a soundtrack album for the Italian crime drama Gomorrah. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Mokadelic. Gomorrah is based on the best-selling non-fiction book by journalist Roberto Saviano and inspired by the 2008 feature directed by Matteo Garrone. The show is created by Lyn Greene & Richard Levine (Masters of Sex, Nip/Tuck) and stars Lauren Ambrose, David Krumholtz, Jessica Pare, Matt Barr, Gabriel Ebert, Jessica Collins and Corey Cott. The drama is based on Meg Wolitzer’s bestselling novel and follows a group of artistic teenagers who meet at summer camp in 1974 and whose friendships are tested by tragedy, success, failure and secrets over the next few decades.
