Relapse Records will release a soundtrack album for the horror thriller The Mind’s Eye. The album features the film’s original music composed by Steve Moore (The Guest, Cub). The soundtrack will be released on December 2, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The Mind’s Eye is written and directed by Joe Begos and stars Graham Skipper, Lauren Ashley Carter, John Speredakos and Noah Segan. The movie follows a man and woman with telekinetic powers who are pursued by an evil doctor who hopes to drain their powers. The full details of the soundtrack album for Tim Burton’s Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Mike Higham and Matthew Margeson (Kingsman: The Secret Service, Eddie the Eagle, Kick-Ass 2). The soundtrack will be released on October 11, 2016 by La-La Land Records and the label’s website and on October 14, 2016 at other retail stores. Visit Amazon to pre-order the CD. A digital release is also expected within the next week. Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children starring Eva Green, Asa Butterfield, Ella Purnell, Allison Janney, Terence Stamp, Rupert Everett, Judi Dench and Samuel L. Jackson is based on the Ransom Riggs novel and follows a teenager who finds himself transported to an island where he must help protect a group of orphans with special powers from creatures out to destroy them. Marcelo Zarvos has signed on to score the upcoming drama Fences. The film marks the third feature directorial effort by Denzel Washington (The Great Debaters, Antwone Fisher) who also stars in the film, alongside Viola Davis, Jovan Adepo, Stephen McKinley Henderson, Russell Hornsby, Mykelti Williamson and Saniyya Sydney. The movie is based on August Wilson’s Pulitzer Prize- and Tony Award-winning play of the same title and tells the story of a one-time promising baseball player, now working as a Pittsburgh garbage collector, and the complicated relationships with his wife, son and friends. Alexandre Desplat’s to Conduct Concert World Premiere of ‘The Secret Life of Pets’ Score

Alexandre Desplat will conduct the Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra for the world premiere concert performance of his score for the animated hit film The Secret Life of Pets at this year’s Hollywood in Vienna gala on October 14, 2016 at the historic Vienna Concert Hall. As previously announced, the Academy Award-winning composer will receive the Max Steiner Film Music Achievement Award, presented by the City of Vienna. The event will also feature the concert world premieres of Desplat’s scores to Argo, Julie & Julia, Lust, Caution and the song Still Dream from DreamWorks Animation’s Rise of the Guardians (performed by German Pop and R&B singer Grace Capristro). Polydor Records will release a soundtrack album for the French comedy Brice 3. The album features the songs from the movie by lead actor Jean Dujardin, The Bech Boys, Andrew Gold, Carl Douglas, The Trashmen, Jan & Dean, Freddy Meyer & more. Also included is the film’s original score composed by Academy Award nominee Bruno Coulais (Coraline, The Chorus, The Crimson Rivers, Song of the Sea) who previously scored the 2005 original film Brice De Nice. The soundtrack will be released digitally on October 14, 2016. Brice 3 is directed by James Huth and stars Dujardin, Clovis Cornillac, Bruno Salomone and Alban Lenoir.
