The film is directed by Kornél Mundruczó (White God) and stars Merab Ninidze, György Cserhalmi, Mónika Balsai and Zsombor Jéger. The movie centers around a young boy who is shot while trying to enter Hungary illegally and gains the power of levitation as a result of it. Premiering today is the mini-series The Kennedys – After Camelot starring Katie Holmes, Matthew Perry, Alexander Siddig, Kristen Hager, Brett Donahue, Diana Hardcastle and Kristin Booth. The 2-parter’s original music is composed by Jamie Forsyth (Bones). The drama is the sequel to the 2011 mini-series The Kennedys, which was co-scored by Sean Callery, and centers on the life of the former First Lady of the United States, Jacqueline Kennedy in the aftermath of the assassination of her husband. A soundtrack album has been released for the CBS drama Limitless. The album features the selections from the show’s original music composed by Paul Leonard-Morgan (Dredd, MI-5, Walking with Dinosaurs 3D, The Numbers Station) who received an Emmy Award nomination for his work on the project and also scored the 2011 feature the series is based on. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. Limitless is developed by Craig Sweeny and stars Jake McDorman, Jennifer Carpenter & Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio. Two new movies are opening nationwide this week:
Opening in most theaters is DreamWorks Animation’s The Boss Baby directed by Tom McGrath and featuring the voices of Alec Baldwin, Steve Buscemi, Jimmy Kimmel, Lisa Kudrow and Miles Bakshi. The film’s original music is composed by Hans Zimmer (The Lion King, Gladiator, Inception, The Dark Knight) and Steve Mazzaro (Bullet to the Head). Also opening wide is the film adaptation of Ghost in the Shell directed by Rupert Sanders and starring Scarlett Johansson, Pilou Asbæk, Takeshi Kitano, Juliette Binoche and Michael Pitt. Clint Mansell (Requiem for a Dream, Black Swan, Noah) and Lorne Balfe (The LEGO Batman Movie, Terminator Genisys) have composed the film’s original music. Paramount Pictures has released a soundtrack album featuring songs from and inspired by the movie (click here for the full details). The soundtrack is now available to download on iTunes, where you can also listen to audio samples. Mondo will release a vinyl version next month. The Blackcoat’s Daughter is directed by Osgood Perkins and stars Emma Roberts, Kiernan Shipka, Lucy Boynton, Lauren Holly and James Remar.
