Air-Edel Records has released a soundtrack album for the Polish drama Spoor. The album features the film’s original music composed by Antoni Komasa-Lazarkiewicz (In Darkness, Rosemary’s Baby mini-series). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Spoor is directed by Agnieszka Holland (The Secret Garden, Washington Square, Europa Europa) and stars Agnieszka Mandat, Wiktor Zborowski, Miroslav Krobot, Jakub Giersal, Patricia Volny and Borys Szyc. The movie follows an elderly woman who lives alone in the Klodzko Valley where a series of mysterious crimes are committed and is convinced she knows who the murderer is, but nobody believes her story. George Kallis to Score ‘Cliffs of Freedom’

George Kallis has been hired to score the upcoming historical drama Cliffs of Freedom. The film marks the feature directorial debut of visual effects artist Van Ling and stars Christopher Plummer, Tania Raymonde, Patti LuPone, Kevin Corrigan, Jan Uddin, Billy Zane and Raza Jeffrey. The movie centers on the ill-fated romance between a Greek village girl and a conflicted Turkish officer during the dawn of the Greek War for Independence against the Ottoman Empire in 1821. The rock band Eagles of Death Metal is currently recording the score for the upcoming comedy sequel Super Troopers 2. The film is directed by Jay Chandrasekhar (The Dukes of Hazzard, Beerfest) who also helmed the 2001 original and also stars in the movie with Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme, Paul Soter, Erik Stolhanske, Rob Lowe, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Brian Cox, Tyler Labine, Lynda Carter Will Sasso and Hayes MacArthur. Varese Sarabande will release a soundtrack album for the Netflix original movie Shimmer Lake. The album features the film’s original music composed by Joseph Trapanese (Oblivion, Insurgent, Allegiant, Straight Outta Compton, Quantico). Johann Johannsson is attached to score the upcoming action thriller Mandy. The film will be directed by Panos Cosmatos (Beyond the Black Rainbow) and is set to star Nicolas Cage. The movie is set in the primal wilderness of 1983 where a broken and haunted man hunts an unhinged religious sect who slaughtered the love of his life. Daniel Noah, Josh C. Back Lot Music will release a score album for the DreamWorks Animation’s Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie. The album features the film’s original score composed by Theodore Shapiro (The Devil Wears Prada, Ghostbusters, Tropic Thunder, Spy, Marley & Me). Dominic Lewis to Score ‘DuckTales’ Reboot

Dominic Lewis has been tapped to score Disney’s upcoming animated series DuckTales. The show is developed by Marc Youngberg based on the classic 80s cartoon and features the voice talent of David Tennant, Bobby Moynihan, Ben Schwartz, Danny Pudi, Kate Micucci, Toks Olagundoye, Beck Bennett, Tony Anselmo and Lin-Manuel Miranda. The series follows the adventures of millionaire Scrooge McDuck and his nephews, as they travel around the world in search of treasure and wealth. Youngberg is also executive producing the project.
