Amazon Content Services has released a soundtrack album for the Mexican Prime Video original series I Would Rather Die (Prefiero La Muerte). The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Mexican Institute of Sound (aka Camilo Lara) (A Million Miles Away, Gentefied, La Liberacion, Going Varsity in Mariachi). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon (and most other major digital music services), where you can also check out the track list. Also listen to the composer’s first track below. I Would Rather Die is created and directed by Sebastián Sariñana and stars Fernanda Castillo, Diego Bernal, Lilith Curiel and Farah Justiniani. The coming-of-age horror comedy is set in a quiet provincial town and follows a misfit who gets bitten by a zombie and after briefly considering ending his life, he decides he’s going to figure out what the hell is happening to his body. The series premiered earlier this month and is now available to stream on Prime Video.
