Andrew Lockington has been tapped to score the upcoming romantic comedy Time Freak. The film is written and directed by Andrew Bowler and stars Asa Butterfield, Sophie Turner, Skyler Gisondo, Will Peltz, Aubrey Reynolds and Jillian Joy. The movie based on Bowler’s Oscar-nominated short of the same title follows a brilliant physics student who decides to build a time machine after his girlfriend breaks up with him. Varese Sarabande has announced a soundtrack album for the sci-fi thriller What Happened to Monday. Fox Music has released a score album for the documentary Step. The album features the film’s original music composed by Laura Karpman (Paris Can Wait, Black Nativity) and Raphael Saadiq (Underground, Insecure). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. As previously reported, Columbia Records has released a separate soundtrack featuring songs from and inspired by the film, including the original song Jump co-written by Karpman & Saadiq, as well Taura Stinson.
