Jeff Richmond has composed the original score for the new Netflix limited series The Four Seasons. The show is created by Tina Fey, Lang Fisher (Never Have I Ever) & Tracey Wigfield (Saved by the Bell, Four Weddings and a Funeral) based on Alan Alda’s 1981 feature of the same title and stars Fey herself, Steve Carell, Will Forte, Colman Domingo, Marco Calvani, Kerri Kenney-Silver and Erika Henningsen. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the action thriller The Accountant 2 directed by Gavin O’Connor and starring Ben Affleck, Jon Bernthal, Cynthia Addai-Robinson, J.K. Simmons, Allison Robertson and Daniella Pineda. The film’s original music is composed by The National’s Bryce Dessner (Sing Sing, We Live in Time, The Two Popes, Bardo, Cyrano, She Came to Me,Manhunt, A Good Person). WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as cover version of Nina Simone’s See-Line Woman performed by Danielle Ponder & Dessner last Friday. Also opening nationwide is the survival horror thriller Until Dawn based on PlayStation Studios’s video game, directed by David F. Sandberg and starring Ella Rubin, Michael Cimino, Odessa A’zion, Ji-young Yoo, Maia Mitchell, Belmont Cameli and Peter Stormare. Benjamin Wallfisch (It, Twisters, Alien: Romulus, Shazam!, The Flash, Blade Runner 2049, The Invisible Man, Hidden Figures) has composed the film’s original music. World Premiere Release of Elmer Bernstein’s ‘Class’ Score Announced

Quartet Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 1983 comedy drama Class directed by Lewis John Carlino and starring Rob Lowe, Jacqueline Bisset, Andrew McCarthy, Cliff Robertson, John Cusack, Virginia Madsen, Lolita Davidovich and Casey Siemaszko. The album features the film’s original score from the Orion Pictures production composed and conducted by Academy Award winner Elmer Bernstein (To Kill a Mockingbird, The Magnificent Seven, Ghostbusters, Airplane, Far from Heaven, The Age of Innocence), as well as several source cues and bonus tracks. The CD, which is limited to 1,000 copies, is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also listen to audio samples and find out more about the release. Madison Gate Records will release a soundtrack album for the romantic drama On Swift Horses. The album features the film’s original score composed by Mark Orton (The Holdovers, Nebraska, The Good Girl, My Old Lady, 12 Mighty Orphans, Love Hard). Also included the original Song for Henry co-written (with Sean O’Brien who also produced the track) and performed by Loren Kramar, as well as another song by Kramar.
