The song, entitled Keep Your Eyes on Me, is also performed by the country music stars and is featured in the film’s first trailer, which premiered today and is embedded after the jump. The track will also be included on the official soundtrack album, alongside songs by Lady Antebellum, Hillsong United, Dierks Bentley, NEEDTOBREATHE and Brett Eldredge. The Shack is directed by Stuart Hazeldine and stars Sam Worthington, Octavia Spencer, Radha Mitchell, Graham Greene and Aviv Alush. ‘Nerdland’ Soundtrack Announced

nerdlandGato Blanco will release a soundtrack album for the animated comedy Nerdland. The album features the film’s original music composed by the synth pop band Night Club (Moonbeam City). Also included are the songs from the movie by Hard Place, Dee Luxxx & more. The soundtrack will be released digitally on December 6, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio clips. Nerdland is directed by Chris Prynoski and features the voices of Paul Rudd, Patton Oswalt, Hannibal Buress,  Mike Judge, Riki Lindhome, Kate Micucci and Reid Scott. beachesLesley Barber has been tapped to score the upcoming Lifetime original movie Beaches. The film is directed by Allison Anders (Grace of My Heart, Gas, Food Lodging) and stars Idina Menzel, Nia Long, Gabriella Pizzolo, Grace Capeless, Jodi Capeless, Sanai Victoria and Antonio Cupo. The movie is a remake of the 1988 feature of the same title (scored by Georges Delerue) starring Bette Midler and centers on a meeting of two youngsters on the Venice Boardwalk, who, though worlds apart in lifestyle, embark on an unexpected and lifelong friendship. The film is written and directed by Meredith Danluck and stars Katherine Waterston, Michael Shannon, Luke Evans and Mark O’Brien. The album features the film’s original music composed and performed by Olivier Mellano. The soundtrack will be released digitally on December 9, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also check out the track list. The Girl Without Hands is written and directed by Sébastien Laudenbach based on a story by the Brothers Grimm. The movie is set in hard times, with a miller selling his daughter to the Devil. Protected by her purity, she escapes but is deprived of her hands. The animated film premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival and will be released in France on December 16. The video features interviews with the director and composer Justin Hurwitz who talk about their collaboration and their work on the project, as well as footage from the orchestral score’s recording sessions. lin-manuel-mirandaLionsgate announced today that Lin-Manuel Miranda will serve as a creative producer and musical mastermind on the feature film and television series adaptations of Pat Rothfuss’ best-selling franchise book trilogy The Kingkiller Chronicle. He is expected to compose the original music and write the songs for both projects. The studio is simultaneously developing and producing the feature film franchise and a TV drama series that expands on the world outside of the books. Lindsey Beer (Transformers: The Last Knight) is currently writing the screenplay for the first movie based on the first book, The Name of the Wind.
